Got on the scale today to a new all time post WLS high. **** *** piss! However, I took it in, didn't get upset and just sighed the sigh, got my coffee and got on OH, answered a PM and here I am. Gotta get on the broomstick here and do something.

Mama Blue is not making enough milk for baby. Booooo! Baby is not old enough to be weaned. Double Boo! Baby does not like the bottle. Triple Boooooo! Baby is going to have to learn to eat much today. Suck it up butter cup!

I was tired with a capital T last night. I was falling asleep in my chair (a rarity), so I got up, went and got Blue to nurse the pup, said goodnight to Ron and hopped into bed. That was 11:30 (very early for me on a Saturday!). I woke up around 5:00 and had Blue feed the pup and then crawled back into bed and slept until I heard the pup talking and walking around the bedroom at 8:00 am. The little dickens is now a very good escapee! She can climb out of the box - even with the higher threshold in place. She is now in her box with the door in place. She is trapped!

So, as i get my WL **** together, if I do not post for a day or two, it's simply because I'm trying to get my head in the game, but I'm thinking I won't need to take time off. I'm feeling better than I have in some time. I have a bit of a busy day with clients and puppy visitors (the Piglet's potential new human parents), so I must get ready and get on with my day.

Med update: YESTERDAY SUCKED!!!!! headache, weirdness, some nausea, but not really nauseous (does that even make sense???), then a little irritable which was followed by feeling giddy and a bit stoned (gotta say I liked that part of it! LOL). Headache is gone today, but I did end up taking ibuprofen, which is probably not the best thing with VSG and the new med! Hate headaches, though, and Ibuprofen is what takes them away for me. Tylenol is pretty worthless on my headaches.

When you cross tapper your meds sometimes it leaves you feeling like you are about to crawl out of your skin. It also made me feel like I had 10 cups of coffee nauseous not too stomach bug nauseous. It usually doesn't last long if that is it.

Dave is right....lots going on, most (and likely all) is temporary.

I still think fondly of the pain relievers given to me when my daughter was born. Absolutely lovely.

Post VSG my doc gave me a dilaudid (sp?) drip. BEST EVER! I can see why it could be addictive!

I am going to stick this out. Not to worry!

Greetings Great Ones

Well 132.5 today and thats without a "download". I am actually getting tired of Costco shrimp. How can that be?

Well its momentarily stopped raining here. Hope you snow shovelers are getting a break. Liz glad you got to Florida. Weird about the sunrise differences. I think getting up in the dark is uncivilized and refuse to do it now that I don't have a real job.

Shell, its amazing all the places our doggies find to make poo. Our old dog likes to scatter it over as large an area as possible. But speaking of poo, good for you for adding more plants into diet. I keep trying to do that but it takes planning. Hence frequent store trips. Gotta go today to get my new favorite coffee. Is coffee a vegetable?

Dave glad you got new internet. Also glad DW is feeling better. Isn't it nice to forget to eat once in awhile?

Well I still haven't done much in the way of exercise which is what I need but have at least gone over the gym calendar and noted possible options on my calendar. Their schedule is very irregular so that makes it hard. Gotta come up with my own routine I guess.

Well Piglet will have to feed at the trough I guess. Bet she gets it fast.

I had a guardianship client once who said "I enjoy eating - its a habit I acquired early in life". Didn't we all.

Time for more plant juice (coffee) Diane S

And Furthermore...

Dave is right and all our medical people will tell you Devon that any change of meds can mess with you. Been there done that. So hang in there.

Paula your ability to manage all these events amazes me. Bless you for making it all work.

Peace and love to all. Diane S
