'Ello Love! Nice to "see" you.

Question: Does coffee really taste good with butter? I simply can't imagine it!

I love it in coffee! It's amazingly similar to 18% cream, just not as 'sweet'. Smooth taste. Usually have it in my first cup of the day, then switch to cream.

Greetings Green People

Happy St. Pats day. I got rewarded with a half pound loss. 132.5. No green beer for me.

Worked at the gallery this morning and had a few sales.

Lots of interesting insights here. I find I really have to low carb it to keep from gaining and that means no bread. pasta, rice or potatoes. Even a few crackers run me off the rails. I don't crave sugar and chocolate like I used to. Dr. Cirangle must have taken out my sugar crave gland. I feel fortunate in this and not sure how I lucked out. Just kept doing it when after I got to goal. Not sure I will be able to do it forever but take it a day at a time. Shrimp and asparagus for dinner tonight so it should be a good calorie day.

All or nothing thinking is like black and white thinking when there are a whole array of colors. I generally reject black and white thinking yet I am pretty strictly no white carbs. Oh well, exceptions are the rule I guess. But introspecting about this stuff is definitely good for all of us, whether we write it down or not.

Anyway, I hope everyone is well, warm and relatively unstressed. Joey and Paula thinking especially of you both. May everyone find a bit of luck today. Diane S

Late to the party once again!

I can't say that I mind some of the side effects I felt today with the new med. I swear I felt a little loopy. I've had moments of euphoria - fleeting, but you know that overly happy that puts you on a plane above everyone else? I also had to take some intentional breaks during a pretty intense workout today to keep myself in oxogen and balanced - sort of dizzy. Nothing enough to make me be bothered by it, but it's curious to sense these little happenings.

Eating was a cluster *** today! Just was. Carb forward, not protein forward. Back on track though for the rest of the day. The workout was a great reset!

So, I'm doing these push ups. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgkyTtQ0ODE The idea of doing these pre VSG wouldn't have ever even occurred to me. So, yes, fat, but strong. This is a positive I hold on to.

Ron is ready to lose a little weight, so it will be nice to have some support at home. I will spend some time this weekend planning protein and enjoyable veggies and fruit for the week. Where I need support is my 3 pm to bedtime grazing. I need to find a thought that will help me stop the thinking that drives me to eat on and off those 8-9 hours even when there is no hunger that drives the appetite. Suggestions welcome.

No corned beef for me tonight. Will make it tomorrow when I have time to enjoy cooking and sitting down for a nice corned beef dinner.

See you all tomorrow!
