Thanks for all of this, Shel. It really helps to hear others think out loud about this, too.

- I knew yesterday?s 205 was not real.
My daughter didn?t feel well enough to drive the boys up to my house, so I picked them up after working late. No time to eat, grabbed a protein bar and a banana from my trunk (bought them the night before and hadn?t brought them inside yet. I don?t normally have bananas in the trunk.). Anywho, I get the boys and am headed home when they are excitedly telling me that it?s Dr. Seuss? birthday and they can dress up as their favorite characters and bring in their books. I?m not new, I figured this was going to be bad, but I wanted to keep them excited. One had a book, the other did not.
I called a lot of party stores, the book stores, craft stores and department stores with little luck. After putting the boys to bed, I picked up the elusive book and finished the costumes. They woke up still excited and very happily got ready for school. Thank everything holy that I was able to piece together a really cool elephant costume for the little man and Lorax costume for the big boy. (Tip ? if you need orange clothes, go to a place that sells hunting gear.)
Did alright even with all the driving around ? 8,451 steps, 1248 calories, 96 g protein, 180 carbs (too many bananas).
Oops, edited to add this morning's NSV - The entry to my building is always a vortex, but today is ridiculously windy. A man was leaving as I was walking in, and the wind literally lifted me off of my feet. He stepped towards me to help, yelled that he saw that! and made sure I got inside alright. I never, EVER had to worry about being blown away by the wind.
Do you wear a super-grandma cape? If not, you need to. Honestly, elephant AND Lorax in an evening after working late. You got some serious magic in you.

They were super simple costumes, but they were good. The kids said they felt like celebrities because all of the teachers wanted to take their pictures. :)
You are an amazing grandma!!!!

I like your new avatar Liz!
134.6 or 8 for me today, can't remember which. Staying about the same.
Food okay yesterday, not so good so far today.
Moh's surgery went good. They got all of the cancer in 2 tries. Took a moderate sized chunk out of my ear but I think were able to reconstruct it pretty well. Borrowed skin from above and below and maybe some from the back of the ear to close. Bandage can come off tomorrow for a cleaning and re-bandage so I will get a better look. Had quite a bit of pain last night and was happy to have some hydrocodone left over from PS. Today just using OTC pain meds.
DH's PET scan got denied by insurance so he had just a plain 'ol CT today. Will still meet with oncology tomorrow to discuss results and next steps.
Macros from yesterday:

I'm glad the MOHS went well - I know others who had cancer on their ears, and once healed you wouldn't know.
Thanks for noticing the Avatar change (it's an after facelift pic).

Liz, you truly look rested.
Hmmm ... I'm re-thinking face plastics.
