Yay!!! March 1st.
Still hanging in at 114. Doing better in the evenings but not perfect. I'm grateful to be under 115 though and it does motivate me.
Day off but heading out for a few personal appointments. March came in like a lion here too.

In like a Lyon.....
124's.
It is air conditioner install day. Later, a guy from the gas fireplace store will be here to double check that we are ready to install. DH was able (we think) to adjust the framing to fit the new fireplace. Bit by bit, that whole project is expanding. We knew we (DH) would need to redo tile but now we (DH) are also replacing mantel and we (me) will repaint the entire room.
Do you remember events in terms of weight? The last time I repainted that room I weighed about 140lbs....it was just after my successful (tho temporary) weight loss with WW.
Watch your hygiene, today! I rather liked Roxie's comment about keeping up basic hygiene....somehow normalizes the whole food thing by lumping it into brushing teeth and showering.
Speaking of showering, I better get a move on.

That pretty much sums it up, doesn't it?
I'm a bit sick and tired of my constant food issues and my weight, which is a symptom thereof. I could feel the frustration mounting yesterday. Lots ruminating round in my brain. Can't say it's very positive either. Not sure where I'm going.
Fat Tuesday is bygone. Let the Lenten period begin.

205. I know it's not real. It's not real. Must keep swimming.
I have been eating well, logging, walking and sleeping enough so everything will work out eventually.
My older grandson had an episode Monday night while sleeping at home. He and his brother got up in the middle of the night and shared a whole box of Little Debbie brownies. The skinny younger one ate one and a half. The older, "husky" one ate the rest. We talked about why he did it (he said he couldn't stop) and how he felt. It was like talking to a younger version of myself. He has an appointment with a doctor about his ADD/ADHD and I told my daughter to be sure to tell the doctor about this because it is clearly binge eating disorder. It is not the first time he's done this, it's the first time he's been caught.
The boys want to stay at my house overnight. The dialysis is scary and I think they like the structure at my house. Plus, who wouldn't rather go to their granny's house? I again suggested to my daughter that they go home from school, do their homework and chores (they need to do chores to help her), have dinner with the family, then she can drive them to my house for bath, reading and bed. I would then drop them at school in the morning. I told her to bring me some of her laundry to do because she's buried.
Joey, You are a great grandma. Your suggestion on your grandson's schedule sounds perfect. All kids (and adults) need structure to feel safe.

Greetings One-Day-At-A-Timers
Thats kind of what it looks like we all have to be doing these days. Paula, hope your surgery goes well. One thing at a time then on to your DH needs. Worrying about eating should not be high on your list. You have good habits in there so let them take over. Sending Prayers and good vibes.
Well Liz, hope the job thing and DH care get worked out. One thing at a time.
Spring is lamb like today but means nothing. We can get storms until June. March 1 is gallery check day so thats my mission among other things.
Well Tesla was named Tesla before we brought her home. Little did we know how apt it would be. She is supercharged. I once had a friend who had a sheltie named "Flash" and it was the biggest dud. Should have been named "Dullard".
Well hats off to you swimmers. I used to do that a lot when I was younger and lived in the midwest.
Good on you Carbon for helping your friend through surgery. Everyone needs such friends.
Shel, hope that fireplace gets in soon. Thats the one thing our house does not have that I miss. Lots of people around here heat with wood. Thats too much work.
Joey, the envelope please - you win in the category of Best Grandma of the Year. Blessings to you.
Again, Paula keep us posted . It helps to share and we all care.
Well gallery sales are picking up. I am making wine stoppers now. I buy the metal stopper and make a ceramic figure to glue on top. I am making cats with those pink ***** cat hats on them. Fun but the last one was a failure - used experimental glaze that turned green.
Had a dream the other night that I looked in the mirror and I was huge and had a gigantic butt. I thought "wait a minute, that can't be right. I have lost over 100 lbs". I tell you it never ends. Woke up relieved.
Peace to all. Diane S
How true on the dog naming. I told DS what Devon said about naming and he said Duchess would not have been Duchess if named later, but would have been Kramer. She used to come skidding into rooms just like Kramer on Seinfeld.

Hugs all the way around. March started like a lion walking through a sticker patch and trying to run from a swarm of bees. The airstream did a little rockin last night. Not the good kind. Mostly strait line winds. Power out from about 3 am. No coffee this morning at my house. Branches all around and a big tree behind the shop fell and blocked the road to the cemetery. Scattered bee boxes. On the way to my DS#1 coffee pot we discovered a goat hut that had been on his property last night. It was a half mile from his place this morning. I made coffee then retrieved the goat hut with the tractor. The other 2 goat hut are in the pond. There are trees that need to be cut back to clear the road but my back said maybe tomorrow. The dogs are a nervous wreck because they had to sleep in the dark from 3-7 am. They followed extra close today. We live in tornado country. We have a storm house behind the airstream.

Glad you are ok. Worried about the goats but I think you have mentioned if they were lost. I have lots of memories of needing to round up cattle (who always seemed to swarm the highway) after high wind storms knocked down fences.
Had to google goat huts just to make sure I had an idea of what they look like.
Careful with your body!
