204. My younger grandson called me last night and asked if he and his brother could have a sleepover. I said sure, of course, and asked when. He meant that night, so I jumped in the car like the grandma who finds out her grandson has no food in the house -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1L65NPGh9U -
After getting back home and in bed (they live 25 minutes away) and after stopping to buy the younger boy new shoes, my daughter called crying because she was in so much pain. She is not a crybaby, so I woke my son to take care of the boys and jumped back in the car like the grandma who finds out her grandson has no food in the house, went through several red lights after making sure it was safe to go, and got her to the hospital in record time. Much grumbling from stupid people who said they were waiting for 6+ hours, who were acting like my daughter was cutting them like a VIP and not in medical danger. Dirty looks for all.
After she was settled in with an IV, blood work done, medications given, blood pressure down, I went back home to the boys. 5 hours later, I was signing them in 10 minutes late to school and heading to work.
The younger has a birthday party today at 5:30 which he has been looking forward to excitedly since he got the invitation last month. I am leaving work early to make sure he gets there and his present is wrapped.
I did not stress eat last night, although tempted. I drank two bottles of Propel instead. Hashtag Little Victories Are BIG
I have about 45 minutes left on my 5 hour energy.
Hashtag Whatever the Hell You Want It To Be. You took care of business!
BTW, hilarious video! :)

So much on your plate Joey. You are a wonderful Grandma and Mom. Yes, little victories are VERY big.

Oh, Paula! I feel your worry. I hope it's nothing more than uncontrolled spasms! You are both in my prayers!
Ann, I love the sentiment of Life is short-lick the bowl! However, when it comes to my weight and actual food, I think I've licked the bowl far too often! LOL! Yet, I often leave the bowl untouched in my day to day life. Must work on that!
Liz, good luck wading through the POA issues: never easy when it's not a mutual idea.
Joey, DAMN! If I could grant you anything it would be peace, serenity, freedom from family obligation, and a wheelbarrow full of cash! (Hundred dollar bills, of course!)
I am pleased that my weight is down another .6 today. I am not eating my way through the lack of sleep and puppy stress. Given that Blue is mama extraordinaire, I'm finding it easier to relax. Puppy still is pretty lousy at finding a nipple. This morning I found her sucking on skin above the nipple. I put her on the nipple and she had at it. I'm hoping by the time she's a week old, she'll have the hang of it. At 3:30 this morning after watching her fumble around searching for a faucet, I thought to myself, "Now, that would be a cute name - Fumble" It might just stick!
I'm feeling pretty positive that I can manage the whole puppy- eating thing this time around. Once I get her through the most crucial 1st three week period ( though, really the next 3-4 days are super crucial) I think I will be able to handle full on WL mode.
Here's to staying positive and at least tasting the bowl!
