They might have been too cool for school but I bet they tucked the info for later thought.  Boys want to look good, too, and they get a lot of info from media about how to do it.  Glad you provided balanced information.

There are few heros from my childhood but my scout master is one of them.  You never know how much of an influence you are!

Good morning fellow journey takers!  Only time for a quick note, as I'm at work and trying to wrap things up before I leave.

The monster hasn't been fed for the past couple of days, and it's telling me so!  Trying to ignore it and continue feeding the soul.  Coming here is a way of doing that.  I also have been trying to use the exercise bike in the morning, as a kick start, and did so today.  I need to increase the time, though or do it again in the evening - maybe tonight, as there's no dance due to school vacation.

Thinking of all of you!  Have a great Tuesday.  Hugs, Mary

Good morning fam. I'm at 113 on the last day of the liquid protein regime. I'm off today so will prepare dinner and may end the liquids with some dense protein. Or maybe a glass of wine. That's liquid protein Right? Anyway I survived but I was not a happy camper.

Today is a rest day, with a few household chores built in. That's about it. Devon, your lone wolfess is beautiful and obviously strong judging by her very loud voice.

Have to admit I thought about you this morning when I was utterly exhausted. Your words rumbled round in my brain! LOL! I realize that I can eat well and deal with new baby pup. I am 100% capable of doing so. It's a matter of being mindful and keeping my goals in mind and asking for help. I'm thinking mindful prayer/meditation will be in order, too.

Can't lie 'cause you already know I'm concerned, and I'm glad to hear you're thinking about what you can do to lessen the impact.

The thing I'm most worried about for you now is chronic sleep deprivation, which we know all too well usually aborts our best laid plans to do good stuff for ourselves. So I'm wondering if you could devise a concrete plan to lessen/eliminate sleep deprivation?  If you can put in place and turn it. Into action up front (rather than waiting until you're already sleep deprived), the rest of your self care plan may be easier to do.  Forgive me if I'm overstepping - my intention is to be helpful.

If I weren't dealing with a singleton, I think I could put a plan in place for sleep. I'm not sure what I can plan right now because I'm not sure if Blue is going to step up as the hormones kick in. I think she will be better than her grandma was with her singleton. I'm hopeful.

I may consider asking Ron to take a couple of nights, but honestly, I'm such a control freak about this I'm not sure I could manage the release of responsibility. At least I'm honest... Today the plan is to eat well, get plenty of rest, and plan for my week.

Yup I get what you're saying, but I'm concerned that maintaining full control in that area of your life may come at a high cost in losing control in other areas of your life.

It sounds like Ron could and likely would share the nighttime load if you would let him, so why not alternate nights?  Admittedly, things may not be done as you would like and there may be some grumbling from Ron, but your health is worth it!

I'll shut up now. Much love and empathy from the pushy broad
