It has been forever since I've started this thread!
Weight up again! Eating wasn't stellar yesterday but wasn't awful either. Certainly didn't warrant the 1.2 lb. gain but after breakfast I had TBP (the big poop) again so I'm sure the scale is being much nicer now but I am all dressed for work, so it will just have to wait until tomorrow.
Work today, scouts tonight. Made a bunch of healthy snacks to show the boys that you can indeed snack healthy!
Macros yesterday:
Cals: 1,662 | Carbs: 171 | Fat: 78 | Protein: 114 | Sodium: 1,720 | Sugar: 32 |
Weight this morning: 135.4
Macronutrients yesterday: Cals - 1,562, Carbs -169, Fat - 57, Protein - 91, Sugar - 83, Fiber - 25
Veggies/fruits yesterday: 4 (goal is 7)
Exercise yesterday: Yardwork
Plans for today: Road trip to the "big city," therapy appointment, shopping, crosswords with hubby

Yesterday was perfect gardening weather, and I started the big spring cleanup, lifting and moving downed timber, cutting wild rose and other growth around trees, and raking leaves. Boy, can I feel it this morning! I was dreading this year's cleanup, so it's good to get started. Unfortunately, the battery in our Gator (a utility vehicle) was dead, so I had to carry and drag a lot of wood and trash.
Three years ago I might not have been able to walk from the house to where I was working yesterday, much less do any work when I got there. When I consider how different and better my life is today after losing 100 pounds and keeping the weight off for over a year it's almost overwhelming! My WLS has been an incomparable gift, and I never want to waste it.
Today is my monthly therapy appointment - a great resource I've benefitted from for nearly 3 years. Then I'm going shopping at my favorite shop, a consignment clothing boutique. It's going to be a good day. :)

148.8 today; 11,887 steps yesterday. Walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes in the morning, and in the late afternoon the weather was so beautiful that the kids and I decided to hike to the oxbow lake behind our house - something we've never done before for fear of Lyme disease - which my sister contracted in the woods behind our house. Had a great 90 minute hike!!
Lettuce wraps and fluffy eggs (aka Chinese clay pot steamed eggs - a favorite comfort food) for dinner. Had a small slice of leftover pizza for lunch, tho - meaning I had terrible carb cravings in the evening, and wound up eating a protein bar about 11pm. :( Goal today is no excess carbs!! Cancelled my recurring Amazon order for Quest chocolate chip cookie dough bars this morning - those things sabotage my eating plan big time!!
I've been fat, and I've been thin - and thin is better.
There is a better way. --Alaine of Lyndar

And there you are in the 140s again and probably for good now. Good move on cancelling the Amazon protein bars order. I was lucky -- for some reason, I didn't like the Quest bars very much. But boy, a lot of people really struggle with 'em.

No weight again today. Got up, took vitamins, started drinking coffee when I realized I hadn't hopped on the scale. That's what I get for not using the master bathroom. Yesterday I was up a pound plus. I'm guessing mostly due to water from muscle repair. My abs are still sore from Friday's work out - as are my triceps and calves.
Food SUCKED yesterday. Didn't over eat, just ate crappy, not so nutritious, calorie dense foods.
Leaving in an hour and 15 for Blue's C section. An ultra sound on Saturday showed that the Lone Wolf pup is strong. By this afternoon we will have a new addition to the household - albeit a very expense addition! I do love pups so I am excited - even if it is only a singleton that will require a lot more attention in the beginning weeks. The turn around will be so much less clean up in the later weeks! Must look at the bright side!
Joey's referral to my old post on regain generated a lot of activity on that post. Apparently several people contacted OH member services about the post and asked if I would write more on regain. So OH has asked me to write a full on article on dealing with regain. Hell, they've come to the right place! LOL!
Happy President's Day!
How exciting to have a new pup arriving!

Drive by! I am in the office for the first time since early January (since facelift and TT). Everyone thinks I look "rested" and are asking about my knee (apparently the rumor was that I had knee surgery). LOL! I didn't want anybody to know about the PS, so I guess that was successful. Tons of office politics going on with the firing of our executive VP last week. Some more or less definite talk about some management positions being eliminated as well as signs that some people are planning to leave. I need to retire!!!!
Weight 115.5 with calories @ 1689. I made and ate crack chicken with my IP last night. OMG! So good!
