VSG Maintenance Group
Saturday February 11
Yes! About 10 years ago I had an electrical problem with my heart which caused an out of hospital arrest at a Cub Scout camp of all places. Thank God they had an AED there and one of the Dad's in our group was a trained responder. They got me back and now I am the not so proud owner of an internal defibrillator. I am very blessed to still be alive - only about a 5% chance with an out of hospital arrest!
Omg - definitely a THANK YOU to God!

Great attitude. In my WTH?! world, Mohs surgery doesn't even make it to Def Con 4. ;)

Thanks, yes, it's Sheri. :)
After typing the above msg, went and tried on the size 8 jeans I bought at Costco yesterday, and THEY FIT!!!!
At the dentist now. They called at 9 with a double cancellation for teeth cleaning at 10 - we were scheduled to be there at noon for monthly braces appt. A no brainer - except we were all still in bed!! And I'm a stickler about healthy breakfasts!! Trying madly to get all doctor and dentist needs taken care of before my primo health insurance ends at the end of the month, and we go back on the not no good Tricare Prime and Delta Dental. (Presuming I don't find a job before then.)
Had a huge IRS win yesterday. Yes. I typed that right. Will believe it when I get the cheque - have been fighting them via an enrolled agent since 2012. Spent 2.5 hours on phone with them yesterday - their dang elevator musak is forever etched in my brain - crossing fingers and toes it's finally resolved, and in my favor, plus she said interest!!
So already - in just one week - multiple good things have happened as a result of losing my job. And the kids are so happy to be out of aftercare! :)
Have a great, heart-healthy day, y'all !!!
Sheri

Sheri,
So much good news!
BTW, I think of you every day when I look at my amaryllis. It bloomed right after Christmas -- four gorgeous flowers. But for some reason I didn't throw it out -- and since then a second stalk came up out of the dirt. And now that second stalk has put forth 4 new gorgeous blooms!
I have named this stalk and its blooms "Second Act," and it makes me think of your situation. :)
You go, girl!
