135's without doing full compression. I'm still wearing the Rx compression leg stocking, which now keeps the fluid retention under control.

I'm so eager to be on the west coast already ! I have Sadie and myself all packed, and am just making final adjustments. This is the first time I'm not traveling with protein powder, but still have the nuts, tuna packets, protein bars to get me through air travel and airports. I'd love to come back five pounds lighter... counting on 20,000 steps per day and healthy eating !!!

Have a great day, and stay the course !

Have a great trip Ocean! You sound prepared.

No weight yet, but the scale arrived in a box yesterday at the new condo, so I can weigh tomorrow. We closed without a hitch yesterday and slept in the new place last night. It is super clean, but I'm going to be swapping out some decorations pretty quickly and need accessories that we are used to like a paper towel holder, tall trash bin (only short ones) - really just preference stuff.  We already got a Keurig coffee maker for me and toaster oven for DH yesterday as well as groceries and towels/sheets.  They left the latter but the sheets were scratchy and the towels were small/thin.  I'm kind of particular about those things. Got the internet working yesterday so I can start work in 45 minutes. Not really looking forward to it...

Had a 5th night of some insomnia - probably only about 3 hours of sleep. Hopefully getting into a regular schedule again will help on that end.

Have a great skinny day!

Ocean and Sadie, bon voyage!  I hope your trip out west is fabulous!  How long will you be gone?

Weight this morning: 134.4

Macronutrients yesterday:  Cals - 1,378, Carbs - 122, Fat - 55, Protein - 85, Sugar - 57, Fiber - 19

Exercise yesterday:  Aquarobics

Veggies/fruits yesterday:  4 (goal of 7)

Plans for today:  Yoga class, edit and practice this Saturday's speech, crosswords with hubby

I wasn't very hungry yesterday after Super Bowl noshing Sunday night.  Even two and a half years post-sleeve, it still seems weird that eating more one day can naturally lead to eating less the next.  It's how I've heard "normal" people feel, although I don't yet feel normal.  Yesterday, I probably could have eaten slider/slurry foods like chips or cookies, but not more dense protein, veggies, fruits, and whole grains.  To me, this is evidence I might once have had healthy instincts that were damaged by the proliferation of highly processed junk food in my environment.

151.4 today, continuing my steady downward dive since job was cut last week. Silver linings, but find myself fighting off mini panic attacks this morning. Not sleeping well. Headed to Baltimore for Dad's knee replacement surgery; he goes under around 11am EST. Hopefully this time it will work, and no infection.

I really need to figure out what I want to be when I grow up!!  LOL!!

Wiil check back in later.

Have a great day, everyone!!

No need to grow up! And.....

"According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average worker currently holds ten different jobs before age forty, and this number is projected to grow. Forrester Research predicts that today's youngest workers ? that's you ? will hold twelve to fifteen jobs in their lifetime."

I know you have already had many varied careers, but what is a few more and they can wait until after a summer of RVing with your girls!

The waiting would make me crazy (I'm very impatient about stuff like that).

Good morning everyone and welcome Roxy

oh, how we wish we were heading to a nice warm place.   Sorry for going on and on about the snow but we are all very fed up.

Food was great, calories were 1788 not so great, but it was 'good' food.    Have been flour and sugar free since Friday and feel waaaay better.

still not doing a whole heck of walking but did a few stair up and downs.  Better then nothing.

all the best with employment hunting.
