You are in luck, this one is done without cabbage.  I used the slow cooker method (and it took close to 20 hrs on low for easy shredding instead of 16 for some reason )  This same website has a pressure cooker recipe.   The author is paleo focused and while I have not used many of her recipes the ones that I have did work.

I love savoy cabbage and usually do a big batch for the week in the instant pot.  The day I weighed the cabbage for MFP recidpe it was 2 lbs of cabbage, I add 3 oz prosciutto, 1 leak, a bunch of carrot coins and a few glugs of apple cider and of course some water to bring to pressure.  3 minutes on manual.   Easy to add any protein/flavoring to it for the rest of the week.  That, and precooked squash of various varieties (today I will be roasting kubacha)  keeps me with easy veges that I like.    But, again, I like cabbage so YMWV!

Greetings Super Maintainers

Well the sun is peeking out and we will be watching the game later - mainly to make jokes about it. Lentil stew on the menu.

We had a nice dinner at a new seafood place last night. I got fish tacos which were exceptional. I could only eat one so There are two more in the fridge.

Goodness you people are busy and all over the place. Sheri hope it works out on the motor home thing. You sound like a person who knows how to make their own opportunities.

Shel, thanks for the info on picture posting. You can see that yesterday I finally got a pic of Daddy Chip and Daughter Tesla posted. The one minute out of 24 hours where she is still.

Savannah what fun! We went there briefly many years ago. Would like to visit the south again as my mom's family is from there. Key West tv ads are appealing to me lately.

133 today I guess from my fish taco. Actually its from minimal moving. It was raining all yesterday and all I did was haul some junk to the thrift store.

DH decided to go to Costco yesterday afternoon. do you think thats a good idea the afternoon before Super Bowl sunday? He said he had never seen it so packed, that they had a huge set up making and selling tons of fried chicken wings plus sauces, and more food sample booths than he had ever seen. People buying enormous amounts of stuff. I bet 10 billion calories walked out those doors yesterday. Paula I believe it about it being the highest calorie consumption day of the year. Because no one eats green beans, all chips and dip and crap plus beer. Our planet will be 10,000 pounds heavier by tomorrow. No one gets exercise except the teams and the puppy bowl participants.

I've never seen wild turkeys around here but there are huge flocks of alleutian geese in the pastures. Must be fun to have the turkeys as neighbors. I saw a goat in someone's front yard the other day and sheep and chickens on a little side street.

Well enjoy the day all, whether the game or football free.  Diane S

204.  I told my son yesterday that I have to take my grandsons more because it is too much for my daughter, and the boys are going to suffer.  I said I have to help them!  He asked, at what cost?  That hit me, because I thought he was talking about himself, but he said that I was killing myself trying to do everything.

Today, I texted my brothers pretty much demanding their help with my daughter's house.  (My younger brother told me I really know how to sell it.)

I talked to my daughter and arranged for her to start bringing the boys to my house after their homework and their dinner as a family, and I will give them baths and bedtime stories (they are NOT too old).  This will save me some driving.  Then, I'll pack their lunches/snacks for school and drive them to school on time.  We will still have our sleepovers Friday nights then play and prepare for the week on Saturdays. Saturday night/Sundays will be reserved for my son.

Also, my son and I will be taking Aikido classes Tuesday and Thursday nights.  My daughter will have to give them baths while we're out, but she can relax more at my house.

Eventually, there will be some me time, but not for a while.
