This psychologist is very cautious, which can be a good thing.  He did not want me to have the surgery either, because he did not know enough about it.  He still doesn't, which is why I was trying to explain the dangers of lap band.  He thinks it's easily reversible.  My son has GERD, so it could cause more problems than what he thinks is a reduced risk.  However, we are discussing it with all of his doctors, luckily he has a lot.  Also, my son is in an intensive outpatient program now, so he is discussing it with them on his own.

This psychologist was not involved in signing off on anything for me or and will not be asked to sign off for my son either.

I am so over this cold! It is a doozy of a virus and is going through its various nasty stages. I cancelled my training appointment yesterday and rested in bed instead. I never cancel my training sessions! Lots of snot, a bit of a cough, and sort of low energy. No fever. Doing my level best to avoid secondary infection!

No weight today, but I'm assuming it's up. Maybe not from yesterday, which was a 2.8 jump up just on account of because.

3 dogs to trim today.

I have to set aside some think time for myself today. I have been in binge mode for two days. Some might refer to it as grazing, but to me it's a friggin' binge because the eating is compulsive. My protein level was ultra low yesterday. Carb level through the roof. Anyhow, I need to do a reset on my thinking.

Greetings Shrimp Lovers

I too love my shrimp. Get it at Costco. Love it when hubby brings a box home because I know its 3 easy dinners guaranteed.

Welcome Magic Sheri. Sorry about your job but I am betting you will land on your feet. Motor home sounds like a good time. Look forward to hearing your adventures.

Speaking of dinners it is our 22 wedding anniversary and we go out to a seafood place tonight. I have already inspected the menu on line and looks like some good options. As well as a second dinner.

132.5 again today. Any day without a gain is a good one.

Princess Tesla looks beautiful with her coat pulled down. Gonna have to post a picture.

Poor DH was carrying the old dog outside and I guess he held her too  tightly because he managed to squeeze a turd out of her! Hit the floor, not him.  Now I would not tell that story to just anyone! DH car needs expensive repairs. I wish he would junk it and drive our SUV but its his thing.

So Dave, is your shop mainly for woodworking or motor stuff or all of the above?

Rainy here but thats the deal in Pac NW. May let up enough for a dog walk I hope.

Super bowl tomorrow. We don't much care who wins. Just like the spectacle. I have one friend who always comes over because we have the biggest tv of all her friends. I will be making lentil soup with lots of veggies and we just eat it at will. 3 dogs roaming about seems like 50. Tesla jumped on the bed with a squeaky toy and squeezed it in my ear. Guess she wanted me to get up.

Thinking of you Joey. Also you Kairk. Plugged sinus can weigh 3 pounds I bet. Afrin nose spray works well for me.

Rushing to get some valentines day art done. Kiln opens tomorrow. Hope it worked.

Later fellow journeyers.    Diane S

Tee Hee Paula. Wait until I post a picture of the old fat Liza. It will seem even funnier. Poor old Liza can't help it and doesn't have much time left.  Shel is teaching me how to post my own pictures I am such a dolt. Diane S

Happy Anniversary!

The shop is wood working. I have worked on cars but always have to pay someone to fix them anyway so I don't anymore unless it is easy.
