morning all.

just where did January go?

after preparing dinner sat down and fell asleep.   According to unkind family members the snoring was loud.   I wish they had jostled me awake because here it is 1:30am and eyes wide open.

Do any of you get so tired that you are beside yourself?   Am getting to that stage.

a beautiful day but no walking.

January did go unusually fast this year. Glad you got some sleep, Carbon. I usually have the opposite problem of sleeping too much.  I wake early in the morning but sometimes take 2 naps and back to bed by 8pm.  Hope you can get the rest you need.

BIL was on a ladder in the back of a truck and fell on his head.  He had surgery and has some improvement but recovery will be months.  MIL and FIL went to the city where he is in the hospital.  FIL had a TIA or ocular migraine with neurologic changes so they are now BOTH in the hospital.  DW and SIL went to drive them back.

Floor in the shop in the woods is done.  DS#1 did most of it.  It looks good and the electrician came by to connect the power to the RV pad.  So I guess in the next couple of days I could move it up there. Yea.  I'm planning on moving the rest of the shop tools today.  My back has hung in there with me.  Hope it lasts.

Seek peace, do good. David

Everyone is up early! Sorry that the in-laws are ailing and hope they get better soon. What a wonderful DS to do so much! Mine likes to cook but he would hide from any physical work.

Holy smokes!  I am sorry that your family is going thru so much.  I guess I am hoping for ocular migraine vs TIA.  Terrifying, I am sure.

Gosh, so sorry about BIL's head injury.

Happy February! Ground Hog Day tomorrow. Yes, Carbon...  I fell asleep on the couch cuddling with Sadie last night, and woke up to go to bed after midnight.

Holding at 133. I agree... in the 120-126 range I heard concern about looking skeletal, gaunt, anorexic. From 139-145 , no one says a word except how healthy I look. I'm feeling the most flow and synergy in my body 131-136 ish. My body feels fit, firm, and I love having bones and defined muscles. Everyone was right, after a year in maintenance, my face no longer looks gaunt here. Ann... there are loads of people just waiting for us to fail, often because we "took the easy way". There is absolutely nothing easy about weight loss surgery, and as we all know, maintenance is a moment to moment, day to day lifelong dedicated promise to ourselves, to never go back.

Girl Scout cookies... so far have been successful staying away. They are a monumental binge trigger from my obese days. Schools have "pushers", adult and student , lurking around every corner. I'm back covering the intermediate school Wednesdays, and working sixish hours T & Th.

Protect your maintenance !

I definitely have the bones, but need the muscles. I think just under 125 will probably be good, but I think I'll just work at getting over 120 then see where it lands.
