Morning all!

Weight down 1.5. Not quite back to pre sick weight, but I'm sure by tomorrow it will be where it was.

Such a difficult day for some. Liz...no real words, except I know. To the depth of my being I know. Carbon, sorry you are not sleeping. Lack of sleep over days and days is simply debilitating. Linda, I hope picking up Bailee's remains is comforting and not traumatic for you.

My appointment with the shrink was beneficial, I think. Anyway, I have some things I'm supposed to do (e.g. remind myself about the things that are positive about myself, like that I speak Dog - rather than focus on what I'm not). I'm also increasingly aware that my mental picture of who I want to be physically and who I feel I should be do not match my reality. Because of that discrepancy I am continually disappointed with myself. I really have to work on fixing that old and ingrained tape.

Have to carve out some time for me to reflect and think. I hope that someday self care will become routine and not something I have to think about scheduling in for the week.

I am a little evil. An elderly client (she's 80) messaged me and told me she fell and believes she fractured her wrist and that she will most likely need to reschedule our appointment on Thursday. My first thought was, "Yay! A free afternoon!" I felt a little guilty, but not really guilty. See? Bad!

Greetings Powerful Persons

Duchess looks so beautiful and peaceful in front of that fire. A well loved dog indeed. So sorry she is not doing well. Our old one is beginning kidney failure and its hard to lose them. Hugs.

Paula, what a lot to think about. Life is never dull, is it? Hope the DH job works out and son is safe and well.

Ski trip sounds great, Diane O. I used to do that years ago. Downhill too. I would like to do it again but with gimpy hands and bone loss I am sort of afraid of injury. We do have an x box ski game thats fun.

All kinds of dog issues today. Chip slipped out the front door and ran off. We spent an hour looking for him. Then got a call from a few blocks away that a lady had found him. I gratefully went and got him and gave her a reward. This area is I think section 8 housing and she didn't hesitate to accept it. Nice person. She said he was headed for "Catopia"  which is a brushy wooded creek area where there are probably feral cats, so she caught him. Of course he had tag with our phone and such. Always important. Hubby takes him for long walks. We may take him to doggy day care so he can have some more fun and get away from torture puppy.  While searching for him I saw a goat standing in someone's beautifully groomed front yard. Nothing like a small town.

Well 132 today. Didn't have my fit bit while dog hunting but I am sure I walked miles. Some lady stopped in a car and asked me if I was lost (I was standing there staring into the woods). I probably looked like some lunatic on the loose. I explained what I was doing.

Enough excitement for the day. Gotta take stuff to gallery and stop at the accountants. Hope the rest of the day is dull. Time for more coffee.  Diane S.

Erk!  That's an awful feeling, looking for DD and not able to find him.  So fortunate for you that someone saw him, retrieved him, and called you.  And so fortunate for DD!

Bad dog!
