For me the service would be an absolute utter waste of money. I have a friend who uses Blue Apron (and used a different one prior to that). Everything is pre measured, but you still need to supply some of the staples. I've prepared the meals with her and don't find them all that tasty. I can prepare a far better meal for a LOT LESS MONEY. I made grass fed beef tenderloin with roasted vegetables and baked sweet potato last week. The entire meal cost just over 17 bucks and we got 4 full meals out of it and one extra small meal for me. So, really, under $4 per meal. In a pinch I can get a whole Costco roast chicken for $5 and we eat off that for days! If you have minimal culinary skills you would do far better creating your own meals - both cost and pleasure wise!

It is official, Dave's shop has nicer floors than my house. Again, I am thinking brb, Dave! A little extra income, interesting formerly fat people visiting.....what's not to love? Stock it with your local coffee beans and it is a sure winner.
I finally threw out Costco bag of pistachios. It is a bag of trouble. There is a silver lining: I bought it before Christmas and it wasn't empty. They are useful at times. Just not Costco-sized useful. So, when (not if) there is a next time, maybe I can do ok with a small bag.
Guard that skinny,

I'm at 117 again, probably partially from some salty meals and partially from over eating. Nothing horrible, but my choices aren't clean enough to drop a few pounds.
Our beloved Bailee peacefully crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The vet service was amazing. I wondered if we waited a day too late but of course I have no way to really gauge that. Guilt, I guess, moreso than logic. I asked the vet that question and of course she said we didn't, but in his final hours it was clear he was suffering. The house seems empty and we are all still adjusting to his absence.
Home this morning, then off to take care of some stuff with DH and then going to the RV show tonight. We are planning a minor reno for ours so just looking for ideas.
Peace and hope

That empty feeling is tough. But so good that Bailee could go peacefully at home with those he loved.
