i think my weight was 117 at lunchtime yesterday. I may start to flatten out my calories a bit, but I'm still not sure of what I consider to be my true weight which is first thing in the morning after bathroom before eating and no clothes. I was able to sleep flat for most of the night last night so I think DH can return to the room finally. I am finding that I sleep super deeply like I did after WLS - must be the body healing.

DS went to visit friends in VT where he went to college before he starts his new Sous Chef job in a couple of weeks so it is quiet here. I think the dogs miss him especially. DD may visit this weekend.  She wants help getting better work clothes as she is getting promoted soon and wants to dress in the role (business casual vs casual).  She says that she remembers that I told her to always dress for the position you want to be in, not the one you are in.

Have a great Thursday. The end of the week is in sight!

Yesterday was a travel day.  Went to Little Rock to quick doctor offices visits.  Stopped by a favorite store to pick up some storage solutions for the airstream.  And came home to find out the DD#1's boyfriend got a full time job.  Hope it works out for him.  Good hours and benefits. So now they will be able to rent our house.   DD#1 is still looking for a job with benefits and full time.  She has been working 50 hour/week but a co-worker has been ill so it is short term.

Gravel pad has been done for the airstream in the woods.  Just lack wiring the RV power.  DS#1 buffed out the concrete so the shop is half done.  We are moving more stuff from the house and will need to pick up boxes for the remaining stuff.  We have been down sizing the house for years.  Moving the shop is going to be the big job (or that's the way I'm building it up in my head) because I never down size the shop.

The concept of finding my full would never have been pondered without this group.

More later, David

Sounds like good things are happening for everyone! Yay!

134.8 today. Had a great eating day yesterday - just over 1,000 calories, lots of protein and no sweets! I wish I liked pork more - it fills my sleeve better than anything else. I remember having problems with it when I was a newer post-op. Last night for dinner I ate 3 oz. of grilled pork chop and 1/2 C of broccoli and wouldn't have been able to take one more bite. Got the munchies after dinner (not true hunger) but I had a large glass of hot tea instead of eating! Proud of me!

Do any of you use those fresh meal services that deliver the ingredients and a recipe? Some of my co-workers do this at least occasionally and it looks intriguing but it is expensive (Blue Apron was about $9-10 per person per meal) and I'm not sure the meals would always be VSG friendly.

I really like thought of Finding your Full - thanks Diane. Like Dave, I need to do some pondering on this and figure out fill myself without food!

Finding my full to protect my skinny - Love it!

I haven't used those services but have patients that do.  They love them.  Most of them went there because  to improve diet.....without the service they simply eat out 100% of the time.   Most never learned to cook.

My impression is that the food is pre-measured and there is a recipe.  I think if you already know how to cook, using a grocery delivery service might be more cost-effective/practical.
