No he didn't - interesting. Hopefully in another 10 days I'll be presentable (when we go to Florida). Nothing too important prior to that.

Good to know - I do have dermablend and can cover them if I have to but I usually don't wear thick foundation like that.

Greetings Winter Wonders

132 today (yay) after what turned into a busy day yesterday.

Dave, make friends with that heating pad, sounds like you are gonna need it. My favorite thing is my electric spa mitts for my hands when they get sore.

Shel, Buffets are indeed ridiculous things. Usually tons of not very good food. My deceased sister in law was constantly wanting to go to buffets at casinos and such. Fortunately we have few here.

Liz hope the healing continues. I had my double chin sucked out nearly 30 years ago. I was back to work in a week but wore turtle necks and had a big lie prepared in case anyone noticed but they didn't. (the lie was that my little dog jumped off the back on the sofa and landed on my face) . Used that derma blend calk- like make up.

Last night we took old dog liza to vet to see if anything could be done for her. Well, the little pig had gained over a pound. Thats like 20 to a person. So she is for sure going on diet to get a little weight off which will help her joints. They also are doing some blood work. Also took dog Chip along so they could  get kennel cough vaccine. Its oral and he actually liked the stuff and had them all laughing as he tried to eat the oral syringe!

But while we were there waiting, there was all this commotion and wailing out in the hall and in the next room. Some poor lady had her dog hit and run in a parking lot and it didn't survive. She was beside herself sobbing  with grief and the police were there. It was awful - DH began to cry. So hug your fur babies tight and goodness keep them on a leash where there are cars. The car had its lights off and they suspected DUI.  I wanted to go hug that lady but didn't dare.

Sunny here today and Chip and DH are out for a walk. I think I will take the old girl for a short walk. Boot camp for Liza and knocking off all the treats. Sounds familiar doesn't it.

Well hoping for a peaceful and pain free day for all.  Diane S

So sad and tough to witness that families grief. They are truly our babies.

Late good morning.

hit the floor running and just stopping now for a breather.   Broke two toes so perhaps running is not the right word.   Still hobbling gets me around.

enjoy your day.   Everyone sounds busy.   Sad about the dog,

Barely catching a break today.

Scale down a tad. Still not doing as well as I could be, but I'm not willing to put in the effort.

Dave, have you tried BioFreeze? Great for soreness. I worry about using a heating pad since I have read (and chiropractor confirmed) that while the heat feels sooooo good, it adds to the inflammation of the muscle tissue, which means it takes longer to heal.

I tried bio freeze years ago.  I am very smell sensitive.  I have found a cream that helps but it is expensive.  Link  I use heat for chronic pain. New pain does respond better to cold compress.  Grinding concrete is new pain.  I should have use ice for the first 24 hours.
