So hard... I'm so sorry for you and your family.

My dogs are 13 and 15 so we know it is coming.  The 13 year old has a heart condition and sleeps a lot.  The 15 year old (chihuahua) is in better shape but has a finicky tummy and bad joints. Though I love both, Chiquita will be the hardest to lose because she was my late daughters dog and losing her will be a little like losing my daughter again (I can't believe it has been almost 12 years since we like lost her now).
