Greetings Exalted Maintainers

132.5 today. Better that going up the elevator. We have another day of sun and probably one more before the rain resumes.  Terrible reports on the midwestern weather from my mom's caregiver. People can't even get to work at their facility so no kitchen staff thus far. My mom has her own apartment and kitchen so she is fine. Feel sorry for the staff. I do not miss the midwestern winters.

Gotta do dog toenails today and dreading Tesla. She has been horrible about it since 9 weeks old.

Liz glad you are getting along well. But don't overdo it. Even working from home is tiring. We used to use a wedge pillow when hubby had sleep apnea. Then we spent a fortune on one of those split king beds where each side goes up and down. Got it at costco for way less than the known brands. He sleeps with his head raised due to reflux. I only use it in zero gravity mode if I am watching some dumb movie.

Glad you teachers have a day off. Not enough for what must be an intense job.

Made lentil soup last night. Perfect thing for a chilly winter night. LOL chilly here is 40 degrees.

Carbon, thinking of you and sending good thoughts.

So what is this BP group that there is controversy about on the vsg forum.

LOL, sorry Shel but its funny you forgot your boobs. I forget bras and my cell phone. Also sometimes forget to brush my hair but who can tell, its such a rat nest.

Well back to the weekly routine of checking up on money at the art gallery, taking in some new work. and seeing what the kiln reveals. Then more playing in the mud.  I have a big plastic tub in the living room and resolve everyday to put something in it to take to the thrift store. Where does all this debris come from?

Stay warm my friends. Diane S

Hey, your mom is in Omaha, right?  I'll have to check in with my parents, they are about 30 miles away in small town Iowa.   I know they were prepared.

No worries about the no-boobs giggle, it is funny!  My blouse today is blousy enough that I doubt anyone can tell.

BP is Bariatric Pal, another obesity website.  I noticed a thread over the weekend but otherwise haven't been following.  Apparently there was a mass exodus when a popular poster's account was inactivated.  She moved to OH, set up her own private group, and lots of people followed.

My mom is in Lincoln. Close enough. Her care giver sent pictures and it looked awful. Could't even get from the building to the car. Parking lot empty. Check on your parents. I am sure they have been through this before and are well stocked. The big worry in the ice storms is power loss. My mom's facility probably has generators. Out here lots of people do too because trees fall down and knock down lines. take care.  Diane s
