Greetings Faithful Maintainers

Wow, what a bunch of highly organized people you all are. I think making lists was one of the 7 habits of highly successful people from that book. Of course I never read it. Don't forget to put "relax" on you list. I don't need to as relaxing comes naturally these days. But I do make lists. Grocery lists but also errands lists. I keep it all on Google calendar. Even have to remind myself to call the next day for doctor or some appointment or I will forget during business hours.

Old doggie Liza peed in her crate last night. I am afraid she is not long for this world.

Its sunny and the sky is bright blue. Looks so cool next to purple house.

Well 132.5 today which I accept gratefully. I forgot to eat lunch yesterday at the studio as I was so involved with multiple things. Guess thats not bad since I did not come home and stuff my face.

Hubby is out to lunch with the "ROMEOS"  (retired old men eating out).

Liz, hope you are healing. Joey thinking of you and hoping things are better.

All the best to all of you. Congrats on your weight loss Devon.    Diane S.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.

145.2 today!  Yay!  150.6 one week ago on 1/6. Like to say it has been easier going but on the plus side I am not starving, added more low carb vegetables, really loving cauliflower lately.  Thinking of sauerkraut for today, was cautious because of the sodium but then someone suggested rinsing it first and I will try that. Of course protein first though. Sometimes when I eat too much sodium the net day the scale is up and I don't want to ruin the daily downtrend if possible.

Working the weekend, 12 hour shifts at the hospital.  Everyone has been bringing leftover baked goods in over the last week from the holidays but I have been resisting, bringing more snacks like veggies and pumpkin seeds in shell and 100 calorie packs of nuts to eat. (I do agree with LeapSecond that for me nuts are too easy to overeat)  The woman whose locker is below mine leaves it open and has a candy dish she puts snickers, kit kats, kisses and other goodies to share in and always keeps it fully stocked.  This has been my nemesis over last few months.  One turns into two and so on and adds up a lot now that I am thinking of it.  It's not as hard to eat mindfully at home as at work for some reason.

For some reason putting in lists and goals into my phone doesn't work as well at reminding me like my paper planner does.  Sometimes the act of physically writing down information helps me remember it and I don't even have to reference the list until nighttime when I get the satisfying act of crossing them off. Done and done!

Hope everyone has a happy and healthy day!

Hi all. I'm still at 117 but had a solid day yesterday with no evening snacking. I think avoiding the late calories may be enough to eventually see my weight drift down to south of 115 so I must let that motivate me. Haven't been in formal diet mode for an entire year and don't want to go there if I don't have to.

My my but you're a super organized group!  Can't claim the same, except when life gets so busy that I must make lists to keep my sanity. I don't like those times!

Baked chicken thighs and green salad with blue cheese dressing for dinner tonight. Yum!
