Happy Boxing Day!  Kairk a good reminder about the purpose of the day. It really isn't about shopping for deals. Our boutique is actually closed for three whole days to give the staff a much needed break. We reopen on Wednesday and begin our seasonal sale then.

I'm about 116 this morning - didn't bother to strip down so that's an approximation. Don't like it but it is what is. A reflection of what I've been doing lately.

DH and DD went down to visit DH family for two days and spared me from tagging along to witness the insanity. Still in my jammies and enjoying the alone time.

All the best to you and yours today!

Greetings Holiday Survivors

Well, its 132.5 today OTHD. At least no gain. I ate quite a bit yesterday at Christmas dinner. Ham, veggies, 1/4 of a biscuit, pate, and a couple of bites of chocolate cake. Also almonds. Would probably have eaten more but sleeve said NO. Good thing. We all got lots of nice gifts (friends were kind enough to leave us off the baked goods list). One guy gave out these funny little plastic gadgets that are a "nose flute". No one could play them except my musically talented husband who played all kinds of christmas songs. It was so funny when no one else could do it. Plenty of wine and good company. Its the way Christmas should be.

Good point about Boxing day Devon. We should all be kinder to others at this time of year. Too bad there is not a better way to share all our excess food with those who lack. We have a pretty good food bank here but you can't take them a leftover piece of cake.

Managed to avoid cookies entirely this year. No one brought any and I ignored the few at the studio. Thats sort of a miracle as I used to be the world's biggest cookie monster and my favorite part of Christmas was baking loads of exquisite cookies. So at least I had a cookie free season. I did take a bite of a chocolate and didn't like it so ditched it.

Great pic Devon and no you do not look plump. Kept trying to decide which pic I liked better - you or the artistic pie. You won.

Onward all. Relax as you can. Relaxing is not my full time job but I somehow manage to stress about one thing or another. Lets all not sweat the small stuff.   Diane S.
