Up early this morning.  The dogs woke me.  Weight plus 2. Calories 1302.  Trying not to graze that is my go to stress reliever.  Went to the shop in the woods and tried to bust some concrete out for a shower drain day before yesterday.  Real workout. I'm still feeling it.  Had to transport DD to work and back so did not go back for 2nd day of busting concrete.  Resting a day or to is probably a good thing.  Maybe Monday I'll finish the workout.

Wishing all of you a Merry Christmas and hoping that 2014 is your healthiest year ever.

Good morning.

123.0 OTD this morning....plus (wait for it), my body fat (which isn't accurate under any cir****tances but stay with me) was 12.3.  So my weight is OTD with my body fat.  That means food actually has negative calories, today?

Even tho I am up 4 lbs overnight, I am not bummed about yesterday.  I did overeat for the day (just to be clear)  My food restriction was not good because why have protein when there is chex mix and cheese on the menu?

I wasn't stressed about food --- perhaps a holiday first.   Up 4 lbs and truly not bummed.  A Christmas miracle!

This morning not even my mom's cookie tin had any appeal to me.  I am not tempted to have "more" with my usual peanut butter toast.  Onward!   If I can get off my duff, I might try to sneak up to the mountains for a quick ski if road conditions permit.

Merry Merry Christmas to all of you.  Thank you for traveling on the VSG bus with me.  I treasure each and everyone of you.

Dave, busting concrete sounds like a stress reliever as long as you don't break your body!

Liz, your Christmas spirit shines thru your pictures.  Just beautiful!

Joy to the World!

Shel

Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays!!!

No weight. Conscious choice to be scale free today. Sadly, I went to bed with a holiday headache and have awakened to the same. It's low grade, so completely doable, but I would rather not have it at all!

Planning a much more protein centered day today. Unlike Shel, the left over cookies called this morning. Am having coffee instead.

The nicest thing about yesterday was my utter lack of stress. Everything went well getting ready for the family. I had an hour to relax before everyone arrived, so I had time to take some pics.

Greetings Holiday Maintainers

Well except for me, 132.5. Must have been that spoon of peanut butter yesterday I thought I would get away with. Oh well, spent a relaxing day wrapping gifts with leftover gift bags from last year so it wasn't too tough. Then I made my homemade apple sauce and of course the chicken liver pate. Had to taste some for quality control but no crackers. Chicken apple sausage for dinner plus raw saurkraut.

Love the Christmas pics. So warm and homey. We are going to friends and this lady used to put up nine christmas trees with ornaments from all over the world. I think she is down to just three now. You could barely walk through the house.

Well just one more bit of Christmas cooking to do. Cheese crisps.

Have a great holiday and don't beat yourselves up if you indulge. You can alway beat yourself up later.

Cheers and peace.  Diane S
