116 after about 50 calories of chicken broth yesterday. 1/2 the colonoscopy prep done and dreading the second 1/2 (that I have to start within the hour). But I'll be all clean, shiny and scoped inside by mid-afternoon. I had forgotten how ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING the prep is and with a smaller stomach I felt that it took me a lot longer to drink it (thus prolonging the awfulness).
After today, on to Christmas celebrations. DS wants me to make the cookies my mother made every year, then I did (almond balls). I told him he could do it but he said it wouldn't be the same (LOL). Tomorrow day we drive 1.5 hours to spend some time with 97 year old MIL. Drive back, then Christmas Eve we have 11 going out to dinner and 10 overnight. Brunch at our home for 11 Christmas morning, then 12 for dinner at SIL 3 miles away for Christmas (DS is cooking it). Only 4 of the 11-12 will be at all events. Very different from last years exceedingly quiet holiday!
TGIF! Have a great one!

133 OTD. Did get my exercise on yesterday (finally!). Did a strength/walking DVD and then went outside and snow shoed a bit. Snow shoeing got the heart rate up. Didn't put my fitness tracker on so didn't get numbers, but I did do the work!
Work today. We will go to a Christmas Eve, Eve service tonight, celebrate with gifts, seafood and chocolate cheesecake tomorrow night and then go to church again on Sunday and have a ham dinner. DS #1 is going through another down period and causing a bit of a funk in the house. As much as I want to always be around to support him through his struggles, there is a little part of me that is looking forward to being many states away. Family dynamic changes quite a bit when he is away. I'm sure if and when that happens I won't like it one bit though!

My son had a lot of ups and downs (literally) at the end of high school and the first few years of college. At 25 he has evened out and is really a joy to be with. Hard to envision, but maturity (and sometimes counseling or more) ultimately makes a big difference.

118.5 this morning, a new low so I weighed twice. It has an asterisk in the record book, tho. 2.5 loose skin was taken off with LBL so it wouldn't be a new low if that was still hanging on me.
Still, lower than I need or care to be, so will continue to add back good fats (ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha) over the next few days.
Seasonally speaking, I should have said ho ho ho.
Up too early today tho there is much I want to get done on this vacation day.
DD started driving and has a new beau. So fun to watch. These kids are so shiney and new. They don't know if, of course, and I know it doesn't feel good to be a teen. Still, I marvel as I watch them practice adulting.
Time to make cake,
Shel

Isn't it weird to have your weight be too low?

Re-read yesterday's post sorry so glum.
Didn't weight (head in sand) Cal : ?? Couldn't count high enough after 4 oreo cheese balls. They are evil and I know how labor intensive they are. I was going to have 1. But over the course of the night I had grazed up 3 more. Loads of sweets available. Noise levels at the party were at head splitting levels. I medicated before the party so I enjoyed it overall. It was good to see everyone. Today is a new day coffee for breakfast maybe find something to busy myself away from allowing the carb monster to graze. Onward. Tis a new day.
Seek peace, do good.

Heavens. Oreo cheese balls. Never heard of such a thing but instinctively know that I should never make. Never. Ever. Not even tomorrow when there are nieces and nephews to delight with culinary delights.
Thanks for saying "labor intensive". Ain't got time for more labor so that settles it.
Didn't notice your glumness yesterday --- and if you were, this is a good place for it. It is a hard time of year for many. I do get a lift from the twinkling lights/decorations and of course hazelnut coffee---even tho I don't know what that hazelnut flavor comes from and am afraid to look.

I glanced, just glanced! at a recipe. Of course it has cream cheese. People who think of oreo cookies have blocks of cream cheese always available (I know because I used to have blocks of cream cheese available)
