Take care of your stress levels. I thought I handled stress wonderfully.  ICU, ER, OR nursing. Always more productive with a deadline. Until about 10 years ago then nervous breakdown.  Everything came to a screeching halt.  Haven't bounced back yet.  Protect yourself.

Here my friend, but only in spirit. No weight to report but I doubt it's anything to brag about. Another blow with DD   There is a serious alcohol issue to add to her pile of challenges, which is growing by the day it seems. Quite literally I can't deal with it so fortunately DH is stepping up. I'm tired. No more to say right now.

I am so sorry. I understand all too well the seriousness of alcohol over use/dependence/abuse. My heart is with you. Alcohol issues are prevalent on my mom's side of the family. I've been there so I know the mix of depression, anger, confusion and befuddlement you might be experiencing. Don't forget to get your needs met. That is most important right now. hugs and love....

So sorry to hear this Linda. You never stop being a parent and I am learning as they get older, the issues get bigger. Hope help for her is around the corner!

Oh I am so sorry. I think that is a huge weight to report! Those little ones own our hearts no matter how big they get.  I'm glad DH is stepping up.

Lots of hugs!

202 still.  Thursday through Saturday I saw 3 great rock shows, got to hug my new favorite young British rock stars, got photos (with my son smiling), turned them into Christmas cards, which I distributed to co-workers, mailed a few, have more to mail...  Weight stayed the same, but did I mention I got to HUG my favorite young British rock stars?!  www.thestruts.com
