Forgot to weigh before I started my vitamins and coffee - so no weight today. Judging by my hands, I'm guessing up a pound or so. I can feel the puffiness in my fingers. Trimming the two Airedales that are coming today will take care of the stiff fingers - at least for today. Tomorrow it may be another story completely. 

I will START my Christmas shopping sometime before next Saturday. Yes, I am a man. I think that says it all. Actually, I have Ron and my brother taken care of, it's everyone else that I need to deal with. Luckily, much of it can be done through gift cards.

Shel, I'm glad the cleaning went well and that your daughter was at least not irate! 

David - do not panic. Take stock of what you're really doing with the food. You don't need to be honest with anyone but yourself. Take an honest look and decide what you want to do. If you aren't ready to deal with it right now, so be it. Wait until you are. It will come back off when you are ready. Preaching to my own choir here, don't you know!

Well 131.5 OTHD. Hey I value those half pound losses. Just as well that my scale does not do tenths. 

LOL Dave your post said something about wearing your bee suit after "singing" episodes. I realize you meant "stinging" but I had this vision of you belting out songs wearing bee suit!  

Shel, good for you for following your best judgement on the clean up. Even though DD had to do obligatory griping, I bet she was secretly glad.  And good the oinking is gone. My mother "shamed" me because of food and it sure did not help me with weight as a young person. After my weight loss this time, she told me my body was perfect (she does have dementia). I never heard that as a child or teen.

Got a couple of ready made hamburgers at the health food store butcher counter. One was bacon cheddar and the other mushroom gorgonzola. Hubby and I each had a half one last night and they were great. The other half tonight. I sure will get more of those!

Well gift shopping is planned but not completed. There is a new artisan chocolate maker here and I am going to get some for a chocoholic friend. Wish I could get it gift wrapped at the store so I can't touch it. 

Well Kairk I wish I could hire you to strip down little Tesla. She is so horrible when I trim her nails even though I started it young. She is going to be a biotch on the grooming table. Guess I will get her breeder to help me out. Lots of work for a dog that is supposed to look "natural". At least the dogs can be outside a lot today as it is sunny and dry.

Good Afternoon!!!  We had our first Christmas with Andy's family yesterday.  We do gifts for the kids and that's about it.  We had a nice time and didn't over do it too much.  

Veggie mini muffins in the oven and making ricotta bake for dinner tonight.  Home for the week and it will be relatively easy to eat healthy.

As a teen, my Mom would shut the door and ignore it.  I was a slob! As an adult, I'm organized and very clean.

No weight today...

It's colder than Frosty the Snowman's belly button!  Windchill in the low single digits and 10 degrees this am for church;whopping 27 now!
