VSG Maintenance Group
Thursday December 15
It isn't Friday yet??? 117.75 - ate more calories yesterday so weight won't keep dropping. I'm sure this won't be an issue in another year, but still a new phenomenon to be worrying about losing too much rather than gaining.
DH went on Zoloft a couple of days ago. We will see if it helps. He has been rather depressed and of late has had some dreams/delusions that he thought were real. I was able to convince him otherwise but I guess this is a warning about the future.
For Christmas, still need to figure out stocking stuffers and get something for oldest DD (gift certificate), but not on bad shape overall (panic will set in next week more likely).
Have a great thin day!

131.4. Bitter cold here still and starting tomorrow night we are suppose to get a big snow storm - 8-12 inches. DS#2 is supposed to be having a party tomorrow night. I feat nobody will be able to make it with the weather! I HATE winter! Waiting for the window insulation kits to arrive. Cold air seeping into the house!
Day off today. Haircut this morning. Will do a few gift certificate purchases (mostly gas cards) for the two older boys.
Happy Thursday!
Paula
122 this morning. I made banana bread last night, another first since VSG. Half is going to my parents with Christmas jammies. Both items have high holiday nostalgia for me and I am enjoying reversing our roles. My parents are totally with-it but I'm not sure they will recognize the irony tho my sister did. (It is always nice to share this kind of thing with siblings.) If I wasn't so cheap, I would throw in new winter coats for both to push the nostalgia over the top. I always wonder what my daughter is going to remember about the holidays.
Anyway, nighttime baking in particular is not a good idea. Good to know. When I start preparing Christmas foods I am going to do as much in very early morning as possible.
Off to the mountains

Good Morning ! Hanging tight 135-139. I will consider it a total WIN to remain here through New Years, and then get back to 132-137 moving into 2017. I don't want to go any lower for now, especially of I have a conversion to RNY ahead of me.
Big weekend in NYC with my girls coming up tomorrow !! Man, if it is windy on top of cold, I may never warm up ! I had to laugh and feel so grateful, listening to them discussing sleeping arrangements and the additional bed sharing options "now that mom's teeny". A teeny mom !! Who'd have thought !!?
Sounds like we're all working hard to protect our skinny ! I appreciate each and every one of you !!

Greetings Goodly Maintainers
Still at 132. I'll take it. Cold and gloomy here and more rain on the way. Makes me want to stay in bed with the dogs. I got up - they are still there.
Chaos at the art gallery yesterday with the new credit card reader and workers who don't know how to use it. No one really gets it (me included) but I just mess with it till it works. Others are less brave.
Gotta get some gift cards out. TODAY. And organize gift list for xmas dinner with our group of friends. Some of these people we only see at these holiday events so they are hard to shop for. Especially the men. Gonna go to the hardware store and look for gadgets.
Had cauliflower cheese soup for dinner last night. Pretty good and not too horrible on the calories.
Kiln opens today and I have a bunch of little figures that go on top of wine stoppers. They have proven popular.
Thats about it around here. Peace and love to all. Diane S
