Last full day in Florida (sigh).  Condo looking until mid-afternoon.  Ate well yesterday but not too much (especially considering low calorie intake the first couple of days when I didn't feel good).  It is fairly easy to not overdue with friends who don't snack or drink alcohol.

Have to get up at 3:30 tomorrow morning to fly back to Boston, so may be posting from the airport early.  Trying to figure out how to easily eat in the morning - I may eat a protein bar for breakfast... staying with friends meant that I have had my usual breakfast every day but no time tomorrow.

I hope you all have great, skinny days!

Posted at the same time as Liz, so I just deleted my original.

129.6 today. Not doing anything special to lose so number is not surprising.

Got some of the office organized yesterday, will continue today. Have an appointment with Employee Health to get cleared to go back to work on Wednesday. New process for that - I guess the paperwork from MD clearing me isn't good enough??? Also have an appt. with PCP to check out a lesion on my ear. Want to rule out skin cancer - too many hours in the sun with many burns as a younger person for sure!

Exercise is good on the farm.  Walk the dogs twice a day just to expend some young dog energy.  Rainy today here we needed it badly.  Hope all have a great Monday.  David

Good Morning!!  It's back to work for me.  It's still nice and quiet :)  I packed soup, apples slices and a protein bar today.  I am prepared.  I just have to keep to the plan.  Scale moved down some.  I'm ready to be back in the 50's but it will take some time, I know...I'm peeing alot so that a good sign that I'm carrying some water weight.

Enjoy the last day in Florida, Liz.

Yay!  Ella..I loved your picture, Devon.  And, just to be clear...you look good.  I love your eyes and smile:)

Hope your ear clears up, Paula!

Dave...can't wait to see the air stream complete.

And just to be clear, YOU look good, too!  Sometimes I find it jarring to see pics of peeps who are not happy with their weight and use a lot of adjectives to describe it.    I just read the adjectives and move on.  I would never guess that I am building a mental image.

But, apparently somewhere I do have a mental image because when I do see a picture I am jarred by the disconnect between my mental image and the real life image.

 There is ZERO chubbiness on your recent facebook picture.   I agree Karik looks great, too.  And (this was a while back) I was amazed at how long and lean DianeS appears even with her self-reported oversized ears/head/feet, slothful ways and a few extra pounds. 

Ok, back to work.  (But, you are fabulous.)

Happy Monday!

No weight today but it doesn't matter because the important thing to report is that I found crow yesterday.  That's a yoga thing where you balance your knees/body on your elbows. That description makes me wonder why someone thought that was important but yoga is super old so I won't question the wisdom of generations.

My yoga teacher always thought I had the strength to do it even in the first few months. (FYI, being SMO makes you strong.)  But, there are a lot of other things going on, too, much of it mental.  So much mental.....

So, Cheers to you my friends!  Happy skinny crow day!

OK, so I immediately had to look up the crow pose and yes, I did try it. Not successful but since I have done zero exercise since surgery and no yoga for at least 2 months, it is no surprise. I'll have to try again once I get back into the physical swing of things again!

Greetings Maintenance Buddies

Well I guess I gotta learn to do Facebook as I am missing out on pictures. Never have done much with that. 

Had a good studio day and proper food day yesterday but up a half to 133. So it goes. 

Calls to make today on matters for my mom. They are reevaluating her on hospice again and her nurse thinks she might get kicked off again. Absurd. Also business calls to make. Errands to run, junk to remove, dogs to clean up after. 

Shel thanks for the comments on looks. We are all too self critical in that respect. At Thanksgiving an older man that I had not seen in a few months told me I looked like a million bucks. Felt good. And in slim black pants and my one fancy holiday sweater, I kinda did. These people have a long hallway with a mirror at the end so its about the only place I get a full view of myself. Why don't we all try finding 10 things we like about our looks instead of fussing about wrinkles. Ok so my ears are big but they are flat to my head and do not stick out. So there.
