Wow! First person to post today!

123.8 - same. PS visit was good yesterday, he isn't concerned about the arm incision that opened a little. Still have the pokey stitches for one more week and now THEY are starting to itch too!

Bible study at our house tonight. Need to go grocery shopping and figure out meals for the rest of the week. I hear we might be getting snow. Certainly normal for WI but we have not had any yet which is just fine with me!

Have a great day friends!

No weight the last couple of days.  Schedule/sleep disrupted because my head is full of snot.  First viral illness of this sort in years.  Have needed a lot of sleep.

Sought food comfort the 1st evening in particular but have mostly pulled it together since then. Glad that there are few foods in the house to abuse.

I am hoping for snow in the mountains this week.  I picked up snow shoe sets for me and the fam.  (Costco carries everything.) Unfortunately, I will probably be the only one to snap them on but a girl can always hope.

I am in a cafeteria waiting for a meeting to start.  The gal across from me has food in front of her that I want to snatch.  And, she looks like she is in good shape.   I am coveting, not judging. Envy is not pretty.

I am at ease.  (If I type it, it must be true)

Have a fabulous day!  Shel

209! Still sick but feel like I'm starting to get better.  I hope the scale drops when the sick leaves.

Greetings Maintenance Experts

Still at an unacceptable 133. Its a crisp sunny fall day so no reason not to get out and about except my slothful nature.

Ya know we are all maintenance experts here. We all know that its not easy and everyone has to customize their own rules. But thats true in any complex process. And worth it.

Heated up the remaining pot roast and added beans last night. couldn't eat a full cup but it was good. Think I will make Popeye Pie tonight. Time to clean out the refrigerator as it has lots of little dishes of unidentifiable leftovers in it.

Sorry some of you are sick. Its that time of year. Around here people get the "Humboldt Crud" which is a cold that drags on and on. I've been lucky (knock on wood).

Well I am breaking down my pile of paperwork and business chores into a few items per day to get through it. Seems to come in about as fast as it goes out.

Well enjoy your holiday preparations. Looks like for the first time in years I won't have to cook the dinner. Yay. Just a couple of pot luck offerings.

Peace and Fun.

Diane

Late post!

down a half. I'll take it. I am seemingly happy maintaining this extra bit of weight. Clearly there is more value for me at this moment in time to be a bit lax on with my intake, rather than buckling down and managing weight loss. Pffft!

Sleep is not evasive, but I am awakening after 5 to 6 hours of sleep and seem to be done for the night. Wish I could get a full 7-8 during the week. Even on the weekends I'm only getting 6-7 hours. Not sure why. I am rested when I get up, but I get tired mid morning. Relying on afternoon coffee. Point of this is that when I'm tired I want to eat.

Took Diane's advice. The other day when I was at the dog show two SMO people went by. Both had to have been in their 30s. One was in an electric scooter. The other had braces on her ankles and hobbled more than walked. I felt quite grateful and fortunate to be only carrying an extra 30 and being in the best health I've been in the last 10 or 20 years. It's all perspective, right?

Glad everyone seems to be well.
