DH had a good birthday celebration last night.  We stayed up much later than usual with visiting family.  DS made a phenomenal meal (of which I ate way too much - not so much on the main meal, but via bites here and there of appetizers, dessert and wine).  No idea what the calories were nor what my weight is this morning (since DD is asleep in the room with the scale - probably just as well). I did go to the gym, walked dogs, and walked around stores so my Fitbit was buzzing with joy.

Zumba this morning (skipping DD making waffles).  I'm going to try and be low cal today to balance out last night.

Leap, I hope the wedding was wonderful. And Paula, that itching sounds awful!

Nice to meet you Stephanie Plum (somehow a familiar name...)!

Stephanie so good to have you posting again.   You and I are sailing in the same boat.  I know that despair does creep in, or at least it does for me, but we are not giving up and that is the main thing.     I can pinpoint to a specific day in May in2015 when I did give up and gained 30 pounds almost overnight.   It has been a struggle ever since.    We can and will do this.

a good food day and 8,992 steps.

this is a one day/hour/minute/second walk at times.

Dave how went the wedding?   And Paula hope that the itching is under control.

keep on keeping on everyone.

Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen

Hey where is everybody? Could it be you have lives outside of OH?  I am usually the slowpoke here.

133 today. Not bad considering the wine tasting I went to yesterday. All the tastes probably added up to a glass of wine. Ate three small crackers with a slice of duck and sweet onion sauce. Very good. One taccito for dinner with a blob of refried beans. GY at the gallery and a cheese stick. Some carrots and hummus while watching football. Not a terrible food day but lacking any greens. Must go seek greens today.

Our team won the football game and it was a close and exciting one.

Its a sunny calm day so I should do something outside. Plenty of dogs here willing to be walked.

Take care all.  Diane S

Hi Guys,

124 today.  Great yoga class yesterday and a bunch of steps.

Paula, there is no chance you have shingles, right?  I am sure not, I know it has been looked at.  By the way, when I was on prednisone, my kitchen was spotless!  Too bad it didn't last.

Glad to see you Lesa and more excited about your therapy dog than I have any reason to be. Maybe too much caffeine on board.

Ok, lots of irons in the fire....better get to them.

I love you all but give yourself some unconditional love today, too!

Shel

The thought of shingles crossed my mind more then once Shel. But I think shingles is more painful than itchy and isn't there blisters with a shingles rash? I have no blisters.

I don't think it has to have blisters and honestly don't know about itching.  I do know that sometimes people have a kind of a nondescript something going on with their skin until the whole thing blossoms and then they are like "Oh, so THAT is how shingles can start!"

It is the zingy part of it that seems weird to me....and,  I am not sure plastic surgeons are use to diagnosing shingles.  But, it probably isn't, esp since I see below that you are feeling better

Yeah, I thought the zingy part was weird too. The rash is bilateral too and shingles us usually unilateral. I think you are right about PS's probably not seeing and dx a lot of shingles cases though and I only saw the assistant anyway.

125.8 today. Itching a little better but still there. Redness and rash is starting to clear up some too.

Went to church today for the first time in several weeks. Was nice to be back. Had a great day out with girlfriend yesterday. We shopped and went out for Thai for lunch.

Hope you all have a wonderful week!

Stephanie Plum is a favorite character of mine in the Janet Evanovich series:)

Sorry you're itching, Paula!

Attended church and then there was lots of puttering around the house and yard.  So much that my legs hurt!  Now relaxing in the bedroom with the new tv my husband bought himself for Christmas...lol

Four days and then on Thanksgiving Break!  It's going to be a busy week.

Enjoy the rest of the evening!
