As I said to Shel, I am jealous of your sleep. Sigh....

Greetings fine friends

Well back to 132.5 today. Dumped the box of crackers at the studio where they will be consumed quickly. Night time cracker raids were getting out of hand.

Gallery duty this afternoon. I don't expect it to be very busy so have to take lots of toys and amusements. Actually should spend time unsnarling computer issues but I am not so good at them. Probably won't get much exercise other than I have to park kind of far away and walk uphill to get to the place.

Hubby has gone out to lunch with friends. No doubt there will be much moaning about the election among this group.

I wonder how California is going to implement its new pot laws. Wonder whats going to happen to the Doctors who specialized in giving medical use cards and the medical dispenceries. Maybe the doctors will go back to regular practices which would be great as our area has a shortage.

Paula hope you are getting over your itching. Must be awful.

Feeling some malaise today. Guess its because its overcast and I am kind of at a boring place with my art. Need to find some new challenges there.

Many thanks to all Veterans out there. My dad was a WWII vet SeaBee.

Cheers to all.   Diane S

CA is legalizing pot too? Where have I been? I wonder if pot would help me not itch so much? I wouldn't mind giving it a try - no calories involved either unless the munchies get too bad!

Well they make all kinds of cremes and oils infused with canabis. not sure what they are for but might help itching. I don't use any of the stuff due to fear of munchies but wouldn't hesitate if had a medical issue.

Use enough pot and you may not notice itching!  LOL  Diane S

125 OTD, my 2nd favorite number to see!

Still in itch Hell. Rash is spreading across my torso but the actual incision/once taped areas are doing a little better. Dave, thanks for the link on the tape. I actually only have one little area covered (part of one of my arm incisions under the axilla broke open a bit last night) but I am only using gauze and horse wrap tape to keep it in place. Taking Benadryl every 4 hours, taking prednisone tabs and using hydrocortisone cream. I am having to apply the hydrocortisone more often than is recommended per the label so I am having DH get some calamine lotion to see if I can alternate the two! Man, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy!

I had some extra energy yesterday so cooked up a storm. Today all I want to do is sleep and find a way not to itch.

One of my new boobs has dropped down probably close to where it should be but the other is still riding high in my chest. Looks funny. Eyes are still bruised - looks like I was in quite a fight. Glad I don't have to be back at work any time soon!

Paula are you taking an antibiotic? I got a terrible rash from one a few years ago which i was given after a skin infection.  Just a thought.  diane

Massachusetts is legalizing pot too. They have until 1/1/2018 to figure out how to manage it.

I left at 5:30 am and returned home at 5:15 pm. Drove roughly 600 miles today! Whoo Hoo!

Coolest thing happened, though. I got to the kennel in Lompoc and my friend's mother drives in behind me and starts talking about a rocket launch. Well, what do you know? I saw an honest to goodness rocket (complete with satellite being taken into orbit) launch and fly up into the stratosphere. The sound was INCREDIBLE! I have never heard such a sound. The rumbling moved the air. It was palpable.  Important to note we were a good 5-10 miles from the launch site.

I got on the scale this morning before I left. I was up the .8 I was down. So it goes.

Eating today was meh. Not stellar. Not over the top awful. Somewhere in the 40-50 % range I suppose.
