Hi all!  120.75 this morning, good calories but no exercise yesterday (not even a dog walk).  I was feeling very down yesterday but am not sure why.  Hopefully today will be better.

I plan to get my butt out to walk the dogs and maybe even Zumba tonight.

Have a good Thursday!

No weight today --- I awoke very early today with a 1st world question of "do I weigh at 3am in the morning?" and the answer was no.

Eats ok yesterday, but little activity.  No walk for my Buster, either.  It felt like the longest 24 hours ever --- the malaise in the air was palpable.

I'm going to do something nice for someone today -- don't know who or what but gotta get positive energy flowing!  No doubt my family would like that to be a feel-good pizza but I am not a saint.

Paula, I hope you have relief from the itching rash.  Ya never know what the recovery period is going to bring you.

Love you all.

Shel

Oh my goodness, the itching is awful. I would rather have pain! It comes and goes and changes location but is so uncomfortable and is interfering with my sleep.

125.2. Itch, itch, itch, itch . ...it is all I can think about. Will try some hydrocortizone cream today making sure to not get on the actual incisions.

Same ol, same ol for today. Couch, computer, kitchen repeat.

Greetings Groovey People

Well up a pound to 133 today. Went to our gallery meeting which is really a little party and grazed my way through the snack table. I don't seem to go for the sweets any more but cheese and crackers and savory treats were eaten with abandon. Then I got into crackers late last night; probably because I didn't have  a proper dinner.  That box of crackers has got to go. But I did get the puppy walked and quite a few steps.

Was trying to print out from the gallery computer and managed to get the screen locked up. Took forever to reboot it. Computers seem to hate me.

Well, some of us decided to have "unhappy hour" after the election. Part of the party.

Off to the eye doctor in a few minutes. He is the one doctor that doesn't weigh me. Its an overcast day and for once its good since my eyes will be dialated.

Cheers all.    Diane S.

Hey everyone!

Drive by post today.  138.2.  Off work and speaking at a Bariatric info session tonight.  I love doing it and always feel motivated after!  One thousand things to do before then!!

Paula- I missed the cause/origin of your itch but maybe some Benadryl in the evening at least to help with sleep??

Love to all,

Heather:)

Rash is from PS surgical tape. My body doesn't like adhesive. Been taking Benedryl and using ice. Went back in to the PS office today so hydrocortizone cream and steroids added. Maybe the Benedryl will counter the effects of the prednisone.

Down .8 today. Undeserved drop.

Had a good work out. It was hard, but good. Working out in front of the huge mirror was distressing. Truth be told I looked fat. The truth is at 30 lbs over where I should be I can't really fool myself when I'm being honest. At least I am strong!

Up at 4:00 am tomorrow to go get Ella down in Lompoc (just north of Santa Barbara). It's a 5 plus hour drive each way and I will do a back and forth tomorrow. It's going to be a long time in the car. I do not always do well food wise on long trips. Stopping to eat is a long time habit that is HARD to break. I think the boredom of the long drive plays into it.

Will be happy to have my girlie home. Fingers crossed for New Year's puppies.

Hello all!  Having a glorious day here. Unseasonably warm weather, two days off from work, slept very late and at my Goldilocks number of 112. Can't get much better than that, right?? Okay, would like to take my motorcycle out but it was this time last year I took that bad spill so I won't tempt fate.

My home is nowhere near its normal standard for tidiness and cleanliness but I'm not stressing over it.  As expected things are a bit more crowded with three of us living here and DH with limited mobility since surgery, but things are going fine  DD seems so much happier and she is pitching in daily. Of course that gives her a sense of accomplishment and builds her confidence so that's just what we want!

Spending the rest of the day in my jammies with no set agenda beyond putzing around.

Peace and hope
