Still 122.75.  Made the Fitbit and dogs happy again by going to Zumba and taking them for a long walk.  Also finished the house cleaning (so satisfying when done!).  Family here to go out to dinner last night.  Went to one of our favorite restaurants- They have "small plates", out of which I get 2 meals plus a really good glass of wine.  I think I'm going to stick with one glass with meals from now on.

Kairk, you literally made me LOL!  I think you did well in how you handled the candy in the end (I'm not sure I would have).  Paula, have a good last day at work and best of luck with the PS! Hopefully you won't need opioids long as I can see how that might be an issue with our stubborn plumbing.

Happy Halloween!

PS - Just had to edit because the Halloween pumpkin and ghost made it look like I was swearing!

Weight the same. Got in my 10,000 steps plus yesterday with just work and housecleaning. Thought I had better get some done before tomorrow since it will be awhile before I can do it again.

Have a great day my fabulous friends!

126 today.  good yoga and steps yesterday.  Bought and ate (why don't I correlate that as I am purchasing?) pre-cut fruit yesterday, more than I needed.  Also, an ice cream/cookie moment that I don't terribly regret.    Onward.

I'm not feeling the candy calling but can't help but feel that the boogeyman (candyman?) is right around the corner.   I am pretty sure that the Candyman's home base is Kairk's candystore.  Good grief, what a place.

Potluck at work today --- I am taking shrimp and cheese and crackers.  I felt good that I had no idea where crackers were at Costco so finally decided to buy elsewhere.

Paula, good luck tomorrow. There is something nice about delivering yourself to the medical team.  No more decisions.  Nothing more to do.  Just be. Breathe positive thoughts.   (You might add daily preventative docusate if you already have daily Miralax as your baseline)

Gotta motor before the rest of the world clogs up the roads.

Kick the candyman's bum, today.

Happy Halloween,

Shel

Good morning all.

Paula have a good day.   Goodness these last months have been busy ones for you.   Liz hang on in there.   Kairk, well done.

Calories were better but still not great 1211 and steps only 6998.   However was able to cut the grass for hopefully the last time this year.   It is not really grass, mostly lovely lovely moss.

Out for a walk in the dark and lashing rain in a few minutes.   We try!

Good for you for getting out there.  My husband has expressed concerns that I walk in the dark.  This time of year there isn't much choice if you work day shifts.

I mocked my rain pants when I bought them for the Alaska trip.  Now I don't know how I survived without them.

No weight this morning but I think yesterday was 114 again. I've fallen into the Halloween junk at home so will be glad to see the end of that!

Work work work work work!  A popular song right?  Don't know quite how I managed to get myself so over scheduled but it's taking a serious toll on me. And today I'm scheduled for a nine hour shift, which is an extremely diffucult shift for me physically. I guess I'm really paying my dues right now and I hope it gets better so that I don't lose any of the enjoyment!  It's hard to describe how busy it is there.

So off I go. Peace and hope

Greetings Three Muskateers

No I am not eating any of those. They were my favorite candy bar as a kid (because they were big) But now I really don't care for them. Have four Costco size bags of halloween candy and have not opened them yet. The real trouble will start when the kids start arriving and those bags have to be opened........

Lots to do with house debris. Its lightly raining and probably will be tonight so we may get low visitors or just lots of people in scuba ware.

Still at 132.5. My musings about power have not taken hold, Ate quite a bit of cheese yesterday. It seems to be worse for me than sweets these days. And I do like wine with my cheese.

My fitbit has cobwebs because I keep forgetting to wear it. I am sure it will soon send me a message asking me if I am in a coma.

Well everyone have fun tonight, be thoughtful about candy and get rid of all the excess tomorrow. Kairk has the right idea. If you are going to eat a little candy get something exquisite and don't just pig out on m and m's

Trick or Treat (but not too many treats)

Wt 222 on the dot

Haven't been into the candy but I have had some nuts and yogurt days. New med is out of me and I kinda woke up today.  Gotten a few airstream steps in.  I got the blinds on. Seating installed, uninstalled fitted and reinstalled. Closet rods in.  I slept in it one night.  Took one of the dogs out there a couple of times to let them get used to the kennel.  It is coming together.  Ordered the kitchen faucet today.
