Sleep is so difficult to negotiate as we get older. It's a ***** to have to catch up when we lose so much of it. Carbon, I hope you can get some really good sleep soon. I've been on so many pain killers lately that I'm sleeping too much.
My shoulder surgery went well on Thursday, but it was much more extensive than the surgeon thought it would be. my bicep tendon was torn, I had a rotator cuff tear and a large bone spur. The most difficult part has been the large splint that I have to wear 24/7, for 6 long weeks. The only time it comes off is to take a shower, or to change my clothes. Dressing myself is comical and frustrating at the same time. Thank goodness my husband is retired, so he can help me most of the time. When he leaves next week, to go see his dad, I'll be alone for 10 days. That will be interesting.
