127.4. One week from today I will be starting my plastic surgery journey. Excited and scared at the same time!

Eats have not been so good. I did do Boot Camp (only level 1) for the first time in forever yesterday. Felt good and butt is a little sore today from all the squats.

DH is in Florida for job interview #1. He has another one the first week in November. That is exciting and scary as well!

All 3 boys seem to be in a good place right now, especially our oldest with bipolar. He usually has a significant down swing about this time every year and so far, so good. I'm also seeing some increased responsibility on his part which is a good thing! Raising teens/young adults is so much harder than I ever expected it to be. My heart goes out to you that are struggling with various family issues (kids, parents, crazy roommates, spouses, etc).

Protect your skinny today my friends. We CAN do this!

Paula

Morning everyone.  Paula hope all goes well.

Good discussion about delay tactics and food desires.

steps yesterday were 8999 on the nose and weight is up 3 pounds as the result of too much salt.

Raining and raining and raining, an absolutely stunning double rainbow yesterday afternoon when the sun  actually broke through.

Happy Tues.

Wish you well on your Plastics journey.  Good luck to DH in the job search.  He better be careful or you will be moving again. LOL

DW and I have been (past tense) in childcare for years (she is real good at it).  We ran a group home for 5 1/2 years with 75 kids in care during that time.  Averaged 13 at a time. We tried to keep them under 12 but sibling groups came in and we took whatever.  Regular kids some with Bipolar, ADD, 1 had multiple personality disorder, sensory integration disorder,1/3rd sexually abuse, 1/3rd physically abused, 1/3rd neglect.  It is without a doubt the hardest work I have ever done. Cooking for them was fun.   We adopted the last 3 that came into the house.  We got them roughly at 5 months, 17 months, and 27 months.  Parenting is HARD.  I would run like a scared cat if the situation ever came up again.

Happy Tuesday!

What an uplifting post!  I do have interest in writing.  Mostly fiction.

Good morning!

140.8.  Great talk at pre-op bariatric surgery group last night, I enjoy sharing my journey and hearing stories of others.  I always feel grateful and motivated to continue working hard.

Work today with a meeting after...hoping I have enough food to last me til 8:00 tonight, I've been hungry since I've started running so much.

Parenting is super hard!!  I have three kids.  My oldest is 15 and has Aspergers and ADHD.  He will always need more of me and I worry about him every day.  Of course I worry about them all...I just promise myself I will do my best each day, which is all I ask of them.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Heather :)

Up early, dropped Ace off at the vet, and got to school in the nick of time. Traffic was hellacious today!

Weight up a smidgeon today, but I sprinkled smoked salt on my meat last night and I bought a pre seasoned roast from the butcher, so I'm sure that seasoning was mighty salty, too.

Stocked up on veggies and meat yesterday. Cooked up the beef roast (tri tip roast), have pork chops and chicken breasts in the fridge to cook tonight. Talked to Ron and he is going to start helping in the cooking department so it doesn't all fall on me. I work far more than he does and he really has plenty of time to help out. He is a tv addict and gets so caught up watching crap he does little else after getting home. Taking on some prep and cooking responsibilities will be good for both of us.

Cleared crap out of the pantry last night, too.

Packed a protein forward tote today. I was a little "panicked" today when I realized I had no chilled almond milk for a shake. I had to suck it up and remind myself that I could wait for my mid morning meal and I would be just fine. I found my reaction interesting and worth taking note of. Truly a food dependent response.

On track. Focused. Convincing myself of my inner strength and reminding myself of my plan. I have a lot on my plate and I sure will feel better about life in general in the coming months with a food plan and structure and discipline in place.

Greetings Freedom Fighters

Well thats what I came up with today. We fight for freedom from food tyranny. Seems like the 100 Years War. I am still at 132.5 and getting no where fast. Nice warm chicken soup last night. Just gotta get moving more. A million errands today and gallery duty tomorrow.

Well good luck with the plastics Paula. I am sure you will love your results.

Boy, Dave, is there anything you haven't done in your life? Sounds like its been very interesting with your many ventures. Good for you.

Well jeez, the phone has rung about 4 times since I started this message. Don't these people know I have important stuff to do like write this?

Hey Carbon, we had a  beautiful double rainbow yesterday too! One you could see end to end. Hope someone found a pot of gold - it wasn't me.

Dogs rule our lives here. This morning Chip and Tesla were having a wrestling match on the bed while I was trying to sleep in.  I don't get no respect at all!

Our art gallery and all the shops around the town square pass out Halloween Candy so kids have a safe place to go. So we bought 60 POUNDS of Halloween candy at costco. I sure hope we get rid of it all. Can't believe that much is needed. But I bet I have eaten more than that in my life.

Well enough drivel.  Have a skinny happy day all!   Diane S.

114 and holding still.  That's okay by me, considering I'm really busy right now and not a lot of time to plan.  Just going through the motions of keeping things on track at home and at work, but overall things are going fine considering the pressure I feel right now.  The worst that's happened is my hand has been in the candy jar at work more than it should.

Bailee caught and killed a mouse in our kitchen the other night.  Didn't know he still had it in him!

DH is making good progress since his surgery and DD is helping out sometimes.  Not consistently, but that's alright for now.  I'll guide/push her more when I'm able, but now is not the time.  My first work evaluation is scheduled for tomorrow, so it will be good to get some formal feedback.

Love each and every one of you.
