125.4. An undeserved loss - we will see tomorrow if it is an actual loss - I doubt it. Very snacky day yesterday and calories were high. I did get my butt on the treadmill - only 30 minutes though and I can tell I have not done it for a while.

Wearing a fun new faux leather skirt to work today with boots! We don't have to dress up but sometimes a girl just wants to look nice!

Onward!

124, yoga'd and good steps yesterday

I would have snacked yesterday if I had anything in my office to snack on.  I went to the other pharmacist's office to see if she had anything.  (She had the day off so -- just imagine me rifling thru her cabinets. Not a pretty picture even if she wouldn't mind).

I only found candy (chocolate covered nuts) and a Costco sized package of nutella to-go's.  She is diabetic and frequently doesn't take her medication.  Seeing someone elses's very human lack of self care gave me pause.  I went back to my barren office empty handed and got back to work. It was un-done work that was giving me head hunger.  I knew that all along, just hard to resist.

Sometimes an empty hand beats Nutellas in the bush.   (I am not sure that makes sense to anyone but me)

We should have faux leather skirt day!  I will need to buy one first.

"Sometimes an empty hand beats Nutellas in the bush.   (I am not sure that makes sense to anyone but me)" Okay - visions of Nutella in one's bush (and I'm not talking the outdoor kind) are in my head now! Yuck! Lol!

Survival mode...  Day 1 -- I noticed the expiration/best by date on today's can of tuna fish.  Best by October 2010!  Uh oh.  It was the last can in my cabinet.  I cut up my pepper, smelled the tuna to make sure it was not foul and started eating it.  That is hard-core survival.  After eating a few bites that tasted fine, I went online just to be sure.  The can was not dented or anything, so the tuna inside is non-perishable and is safe to consume.  whew  Turned down Dunkin Donuts coffee run by co-worker.  Survival mode is hard.

Tonight I am making taco chili, which will use ground turkey from my freezer, a taco seasoning packet, salsa, leftover ****ouched) rice and beans from dinner the other night, black beans from the cabinet, some cheddar cheese and whatever else I find that looks good for the mix.

I forgot to weigh myself this morning because I was rushing so hard to get to work early.  I would have made it too, but I was late because my son adamantly wanted fried eggs and toast for breakfast.  Normally, I grab a Quest bar and banana as I run out the door.  Anyone who deals with someone with severe mental illness knows that I really had no choice.

Greetings Great People

Well I am at 132.5. Gaining weight, no doubt about it. Spent forever on tech support line at the gallery yesterday. Gotta hire some computer help locally since this new system is not working as it should. Makes me crazy and I don't know how I ended up with this.

Ran out of flax seed a few days ago so I am probably full of poop which I hope accounts for weight gain. That and wine drinking which is empty calories.

The workmen are here to replace the deck rails now that painting is done. Hubby just loves to go out and talk to them and watch them do work.

Leather skirts and boots! I remember when I used to wear that stuff in the 60's. Far too old for it now but it sure sounds fun. Dress up for me is anything other than sweats.

Well soldier on everyone. And good on you Shel for not getting into the nutellas. Bet you felt powerful. We are all indeed powerful people as shown by what we have done.    Diane S

I withdrew money from my 401k.  I know it's taxable, stupid and irresponsible but it's better than the alternatives.  I am owning it!

I got a second job for as much time as I can work on the weekends.  It's a lot less money per hour, but I can bring my son with me and he will also earn some money, so it is perfect.

Onward!
