128 OTD. High salt meal last night (Japanese Steak House) so I imagine I am holding on to some water this morning. Kind of a gloomy Fall day today. Almost 11 and still in my jammies. Guess I am feeling a bit lazy! After months (or so it seems) of packing and unpacking I guess I "deserve" a lazy Saturday if I wish!

Eating was good yesterday but want to eat/graze everything today. Worked on plumbing yesterday. Couple of leaks, one is going to require a new part.
Perfect weather here today. No A/C, doors and windows open, rained yesterday so the air is clean. Perfect.

Still at 132. Ate kind of a crappy dinner of orange chicken pieces from Costco. Box said 260 calories per serving which should be doable.
Wonderful stories about reaction to weight loss. I know my hairdresser doesn't realize she met me many years ago in another context.
Well its rained pretty heavily all night and will continue today. Weather channel says strong storms later today. We have buried power cable in our neighborhood but invariably there are power outages in windy storms. Too many redwoods to fall over. Flakey infrastructure.
Kairk I think I am more than 2 hours north of you. I am 60 miles from Oregon. Really in the sticks.
Well, time to watch football. Hope everyone snuggles in for the storms. I no longer worry about going to the grocery store and stocking up like I used to. A couple of cans of chili and we are ready.

LOVE hearing these stories. Shel, I too have goosebumps from hearing yours! Heather, I'm jealous that you can run. I used to love to run years ago. I once got to goal and stayed for 2 years probably because I ran every day. Happy 4th Surgiversary Linda - nice job maintaining your weight.

I'm still at 125 this morning, which I would consider a victory. We have company this weekend, so we went to lunch yesterday and last night my chef son cooked amazing short-ribs, stuffed potatoes, etc. Thank goodness for my sleeve, because I only ate what fit (3oz short-ribs plus a bite of potatoes and a few green beans - also had a couple bites of chocolate cake - oh and a glass of really good red wine). In the past, I would have eaten way more what I should have including a complete potato and several glasses of wine. Then I would have spent the week hoping I could make up for it! I actually felt satisfied with what I had, and I don't have to make up for it. I know it is early in maintenance, but I'm hoping these lessons will make me successful in the long run.
I've been fighting a cold for the last couple of days and it is definitely here today. But planning on going to Zumba anyway.
