126.8. Good morning my fine friends!

I browsed the thread yesterday but didn't have time to post and then got busy in the evening and didn't make it back on here.

I had my PS pre-op yesterday. I will be having a breast lift with augmentation, upper eyelid lift and an arm lift. I don't have to have a full length arm lift, more like a smiley face in the arm pit and a shorter incision down the arm (maybe about 4 inches). I will also have my defibrillator moved under the breast tissue. Surgery date is scheduled for Nov. 1st.

Work today, bible study tonight and close on house tomorrow!

How are you all doing?

Morning all.

Diane, pleeeease, a picture of the purple house!!!!!!

Liz well done and Paula congrats on the first  of the surgery decsions.

well, it was a shock at work yesterday!!!!!! Young person was fired.  For theft!  Goodness that was a huge surprise.   It is sad as that reputation will follow them for a long long time.   I don't know the ins and outs so don't know if the police are involved.   We spent  the day just looking at each other in disbelief.

Food was excellent and steps were 11,045.  Paid for them in pain but it felt so good at the time.

Happy Wednesday all.   ( and oh, the three bears were back cavorting.  And they truly did look like:  papa, mama and baby )

Morning peeps!

140.8.  I ran SIX miles this morning.  6 miles?!?  I don't even know this person I'm becoming but I'm completely excited about it.

Day off today.  Taking the dog to the vet and then several errands.  Getting ready for the inlaws arrival either today or tomorrow as well.  House will be a *****aotic!

Paula, very exciting news with the PS.  Good for you!

Carbon, awesome job with the steps!!!

Hope you skinnies all have a wonderful day!

Good morning you successful skinnies!  So much good news already posted!

125's.  Too much fruit yesterday.  Costco was at work to push memberships which I think is funny because I know of NO ONE who doesn't have a Costco membership.   But, they brought a million muffins plus fruit.  I tried some muffin crumbs and deemed them tasting of chemicals.  It doesn't matter if it is true, it was enough to keep me out of them.  No yoga yesterday but a good amount of steps.

I better get a move on.  I promised to move some good will stuff out of the garage, plus I want to walk and yoga before work.  Big rains are forecast beginning this evening.

DianeS, yes purple house pic WITH Tesla.

Pretty good food day yesterday. Back on track for most of the day. We had some crap food left over from the dog sitter's stash of junk food. Admittedly, I had a couple of those damn elf cookies! They actually aren't very good, but they called. Sigh....

Keep having flashes of the need to go hard core, old school diet mode. I know that doesn't work for me long haul, but I think I may just need to go old school for three to five days and get back to it. Yesterday and today are sort of tapering off days. Honestly, the sugar intake in PA was out of control on two of the days.

Dilemma - I am still waiting for the replacement scale. I am soooo tempted to buy a scale, but then what the heck am I going to do with two scales when the replacement scale finally comes? I guess I don't really NEED to know my weight. I know I need to be in WL mode right now. There is something about not having the scale that leads to a lack of accountability for me. ACK.....

Thought I'd include some pictures of my pretty girl. She really is quite a beauty (IMO).

Ella IS a pretty girl!

My brothers showed dogs in the obedience classes as kids.  One was a multi-year grand champion.  Another (Tum, the rat terrier) won notoriety by biting the judge.  That is one my favorite all time little kid memories.

Thanks for the explanation of show dogs and handlers.  Our family's business was beef cattle when I was growing up.  I spent a fair amount of time at shows and as a little kid knew more about animal breeding than most people would think decent.  At that time, one didn't send show-cattle off to handlers but who knows what they do now.

Paula,

congrats on the upcoming PS. Having had the upper (and lower) eye lifts done, I can tell you it is one of the best decisions I have made. Having one's eyes look rested and as good as you feel is priceless!

Successful Skinnies!

Love that term.  131 today in spite of lots of steps yesterday, modest food (dinner shrimp and green beans)  and mega activity in the smallest room in the house. Go figure.

Today is the last day before a bunch of big rain storms are supposed to come. Painter is coming today to put the downspouts back up and it will be just in time. I will have to send Shel a picture of the purple house and Tesla since I can never figure out how to post here. I seem to be computer jinxed. Spent half an hour trying to print a  business form for my mother last night. Hubby did it in 1 minute and I swear I did all the stuff he did.

Well Paula good luck on the PS. I wish there was an easier way to get rid of this skin. About 30 years ago I had some liposuction and recovery was way worse than vsg.

Devon, Ella is nothing short of spectacular. Beautiful proportions, grooming and presentation. A big deal indeed.

Well, may head for the pharmacy for a flu shot today. Only had the real flu once and it was murderous. Also  can now use a nearby independent pharmacy with my part D plan instead of having to go all the way to costco because their pharmacy prices are cheaper.  Still love Costco.

Seems like I have been dealing with snarls of paper for insurance, my mom, taxes, gallery business and other crap. Its almost like having a job again but without secretarial help.

Well Halloween is on the way and we get 400 kids. So I will get all the candy I hate like sweet tarts and Dots. Also little plastic spider rings.  Trick or Treat?
