sleep is evasive and we are having a wonderful wind and rain storm ( although nothing like 'Mathew' and that can hardly be described as ' wonderful' )

not the best of food days and boredom has found me munching 12 almonds and some raisins.  No wonder unable to sleep.    Steps were only 6,898.

Paula much admiration for your cleaning gymnastics.    And also for those of us who run!!!

Can also relate to the fat feeling.   Feel like am lumbering not walking.

Happy Friday everyone.

124.0 on the dot.  This is the first OOD in months.  (Can't help but note that Paula's scale hands them out like candy. What kind of scale is that? Maybe Devon wants one.)

Ok steps yesterday, no yoga.  Went to high school curriculum night.  There wasn't even a flicker of recognition in the eyes of other parents that I have known for 10 years.  (These would be all friendly acquaintances, not friends.)   Last year, not yet to target weight, people knew they knew me but couldn't place me until I said, Hi, I'm Shel!  This year I was just a stranger and it was so busy that I didn't bother to re-introduce myself.

On the other hand, a couple of moms struck up conversations with me because they liked my outfit.  Lordy, I don't even recognize myself sometimes.

Linda, can't wait to hear about your TV appearance!   Very, very cool!  I looked at Lisette's (I might be spelling/remembering name wrong) website and will keep my eye out for pants here in the area that I can try on to have a better idea of size. Per the website, it is sold in very few stores and it is hard to know what store might have pants in stock on a day that I am willing to go looking.  Might be a while!

Devon, hope you are having a fabulous trip!

Hope everyone has a fabulous Friday as we peek into the weekend.  Hope no one is in the path of Matthew.

Shel

Good morning all!

140.8.  Working today so very little exciting happening in my life.

My parents are vacationing in Orlando but all is safe and well in their hotel last I heard.

Busy day with activities for my kids tomorrow...I love that I feel so active and less tired at the thought of a whole day of running around.  I may try to squeeze in a run early tomorrow morning as I'm continuing to prep for my first 5k later this month.

Have a wonderful Friday all!  Steer the course!

Heather :)

202.  At least it's heading back downwards again, but I want to be in ONE-derland!  In One-EIGHTY-land!  Gotta put in the work and time.  I hate that, I want immediate results.  sigh

Greetings Great Gang

131 so thats better. Puppy Tesla is so rambunctious that I need to take her for a long walk. Wish I had her energy.

Made a healthier chicken dish last night with salsa. Still on the mexican food kick but that ends tonight.

House painter is finishing up and painting the shed. looks nice. Hubby had to cut back the climbing rose bush as it was about to eat the shed.

Sunny day and various gallery and studio duties to attend to.

Paula send me some of your motivation to organize the house. We have been here 14 years and its still not done.   Diane S
