G. M. All.

Nice work Paula.  Not easy packing up a life time!

good food day, or at least better.  5988 steps but that was mainly at my volunteer job as the rains were really and truly raining.

enjoy this day of supposed rest.

Hey people!

143.4, no change from yesterday.  Fighting a gross cold so haven't been exercising.

Just left my sons soccer game and headed to a 6 hour work shift.  My sons team has lost every game until today...so psyched I could be there for their first win!

Paula, enjoy the last weekend in the house.  Carbon, we had a lot of rain here yesterday.  Needed it badly but it kills my motivation to do anything!

Have a great Sunday everyone!!

Heather :)

124 this morning.  Yoga'd and good steps yesterday.  The all-afternoon XC meet was an NSV.  It was easy to be on my feet for several hours. Even a year ago, just overweight, that wouldn't have been easy.  The ease came both from weight loss and an increase in fitness. Both feel great.

I am not sure what today is going to bring; feeling under the weather and lack my usual weekend morning oomph.  I think I will pare back to the must-do's.  That is hard because I really prefer the wanna-dos.  Sometimes this conflict pulls me into paralysis and I really don't want that.

Paula, I am glad you are almost into a single house!  It is exhausting just virtually following you around! :)

Like Carbon and Heather, we have had rain around here, but....it is October and as it should be.  I have decided for-sure-for-sure to pick up a gym membership from Nov-Feb, the darkest/rainiest months to help keep me out of hibernation.

Bestest Sunday wishes for all of you!

Shel

Weight? Hell, if I know! LOL!

Yesterday was a lot of fun. The wedding was at a vineyard - very upscale CA rustic - and picture perfect. Food was at a minimum. I had some cheese and berries before dinner and a diet coke. Dinner was grilled meats and veggies with a side of Orzo salad and "rustic" bread rolls. The server dishing food out commented on my small appetite. Made me chuckle as I simply said, "Yes, I suppose I do."

NSV of sorts: While I have no scale I put on a suit that I have not worn since the spring and it fit just fine. Weight must be on the stable side.

Bothersome news: Ron had to go out and buy a pair of slacks for the wedding. None of his fit. He is up to a 40 inch waist. Not good. Not sure how I can help him without being a pushy pig. He's upset, but he keeps eating up a storm, which is confusing to me since he really has never had eating issues.

Busy day today. Will check in later to read.

Spouses are interesting, aren't they?  Mine keep says he is too busy to get any exercise in.  This, as he watches old football games on tv's.  He evens says "I am watching THE game" and I'm like, who's playing?  (This was yesterday, UW played on Friday and Seahawks play today.). He then says it was a game from a couple of years ago.

It is all ok, he is under a lot of stress with both of his parents failing in different but terrible ways.  He is POA and his brother is only makes things worse.  I focus on not adding to his burden and lightening it in the few ways I can.  I do invite him on walks with me (which he politely declines) but that is about it.

But, he is NOT too busy to get in a 10-30 minute walk ;0. Just between you and me.

Edited to add that people who weighed 360 lb definitely live in a glass house

Ron also has no time to exercise. However, he too, finds time to watch hours of television each day. What can you do, right?

131.5, So it goes. Yesterday was a beautiful day that I spent at the gallery and watching football. The huskers won again. yay.  And the painter finished up yesterday except for the trim which is a good thing because it is pouring today. The downspouts are off so the gutters are like a hose, but we have no basement here so not too worried about the drainage. . We love our lavender house.

Tesla's breeder will come see her next week so we will get the evaluation. I think she looks pretty good.

WE have a halloween party every year because we get 400 kids in our tract house neighborhood. I figure if I start cleaning now it might be ok by then. Nothing is safe from the puppy.

Have a great week all. I think this gloomy day should be spent in the studio where hopefully some nice hot kilns are running.   Diane

Halloween party sounds fun! DS #1 wants to have one in our new digs. Since he isn't too keen on moving I think I will oblige!

Good idea. We dress like witches, have pumpkin soup, take shifts passing out the candy and have a little puppet show for the kids. Its fun.   diane
