Friday is here at last.

Am sleepless on the west coast and seeing how it is 3am, Paula and all you east coasters are probably up and at it.

congrats Dave on the 3 lost pounds.

Poor eating day for some reason but got up to 9,000 steps so that is good.

The dogs are all barking so the deer and bears are likely annoying them on purpose.

I thought for sure I would be starting the thread today! Sorry you are sleepless Carbon.

126.2 - up a smidge, not surprising. Had a snacky day yesterday. Off to work and then busy weekend - Homecoming happenings for the oldest 2 and last weekend in this house. Final push for moving out small things and continue to do cleaning!

Paula, a thought for getting more help with moving next time.  Pack all of the electronics and remotes first.  LOL.  Sorry I didn't think of it sooner.  Hope the final push goes well.

123's, poor steps yesterday but pretty terrific yoga class.  This particular instructor has a gift for clearing out cob webs from various nooks and crannies of my hips and torso.  Definitely needed.  Now if someone could just clear out the nooks and crannies of my brain.

I envision Carbon's home being circled by taunting deers and bears.  Some people have all the fun.  (PS, glad to see the steps increased for you, Carbon!  Hopefully it didn't come with too much pain.)

Love you all, thanks for being here and sharing.

Shel

You must have pretty neat nooks and crannies in your brain to imagine taunting deer and bears.

Good morning skinny family!

143.8 today so back in my 140-145 comfort zone.  Low on my good food choices so heading to the grocery store today to stock up.  One of my patients brought me a ridiculously huge bag of cukes and summer squash from her garden so thinking to maybe try spiralizing some veggies with a protein and sauce sort of deal.

A big beautiful deer ran right in front of me on my run this morning.  The animal probably weighs more than I do and made it look so easy!

Homecoming game for soccer for my oldest tonight.  He has autism and ADHD so many challenges with school and socially over the years.  But soccer has been his steady love and source of self esteem.  I love watching him play so grateful to be off today.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Good Morning VSG Family!!!

156's I'm still maintaning...I know what I need to do to lose but haven't been motivated to cut some of the foods I'm enjoying:)

3# loss!!! Excellent, Dave!!!

Carbon, your steps with knee pain are incredible!

Moving is such a chore...kudos, Paula!

Enjoy your family time, Heather!!

Shel...maybe the weekend will rid the cobwebs of the brain...may you be refreshed

Diane- love the Tesla updates and the painter stories

Devon-your post make me think.  How's school? Did you get your scale in the mail today?

Diane O.- hoping school has calmed for you.

I'm off to my workout, cutting the grass, cleaning my vehicle and dinner with friends.  Tomr, Andy has a Marching competition so I'll go and support the band.  It will be a long day for him!!  Hoping they do well.  I may try to squeeze in a mani and a pedi...

Oh! Does anyone watch This is Us?  One of the storylines is about an overweight woman.  I can identify with her...A lot!!!!

Love to all...

Down to 113 today.  Better bathroom day and my food choices were on point yesterday too. Hard to give up the holiday habits but I'm slowly getting there!

Didn't get to the yard work yesterday and not feeling motivated today so we will see if I can push myself out the door. I start my regular three day work schedule later, so if I don't get the yard done today it will have to wait until next week!

Devon hope your scale has arrived. I know how much you've been missing it. I'm expecting a UPS package today too, but I think mine is way funner than yours (Chelsea boots)

Have a great Friday, everyone!

Carbon sorry you are sleepless.  I hate it when my sleep gets messed up.  At least you have dogs that bark at bears.  2 of 3of my dogs bark at any and everything. The pit is an outside dog except at night I put her in the shop to sleep.  If she is barking I get up to look because there is something real out there.  No bears allowed on my property.

I put the seating in the airstream yesterday.  Not installed but sitting there.  We have been using it in the house to see if it needed any modifications.  It will fit with some trimming but DW thinks it a bit to green.  May have to refini**** or add some color to it.  I said purple? but she said no.  Maybe orange.  Colors don't matter much to me.  I trust her color vision completely and much more than mine.

Greetings Dear Skinnies

131 today. Actually lucky since I had a super sluggy day yesterday. I was kind of chilled and it was overcast and mostly stayed covered up on the couch watching political nonsense.  Fitbit must have thought I was comatose.

Paula, thinking about moving makes me hurt! You sure are getting a lot done. Ditto Dave and the airstream.

Well painter, hubby and I were out in front of the house admiring the purple. An elderly neighbor came up to the mailbox. I said "Look Ed, we are painting our house purple!"  His response was "Lordy".   So funny.

Well DH has been taking Tesla for a walk very first thing in the morning to get her to stop pooping in the living room and to get her to poop on a leash. Lucky he is an early riser.  No way I could do it.

Made Popeye Pie last night. Eggs, hamburger, lots of spinach and cheese baked sort of like a quiche. Very good plus there is more for tonight.

Sounds like there is homecoming everywhere. How fun. Do kids still get dressed up for the big dance? Corsages? Or am I showing my age?

Gallery duty tomorrow. Gotta get ready for boredom.   Diane S
