It's interesting to me how some days I am full of restriction, other days the sleeve can feel more bottomless.  Go with it dude!  Happy Thursday!

Still holding at 115. Sure could benefit from getting things moving in the bathroom. Missed many miralax doses a few weeks back and paying the price now. IBS-C sucks, but at least the miralax eventually makes things happen. Even laxatives don't work. Waaaaaa!

Day off, planning to prepare a nice dinner. DD has been stopping by often at that time of day. We're always happy to see her and know she is getting healthy food. Need more flat shoes/boots for work - will see what can be found today.

Need to continue focusing on getting back to at least 114. My 4 year surgiversary is coming up so I want to be south of 115 for that. Also scheduled for three year physical data collection related to the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging. Hoping to weigh in at pretty much the same number.  All good motivators for me! I enjoy little challenges like these.

Carbon, glad those knees will finally be dealt with. Hopefully not too many more months go by without treatment. As a fellow Canadian who has waited inordinate amounts of time for surgery, the best advice I can give you is to complain a lot. Become a nuisance because it works. I assume they will do one at a time?

Hello from the Windy City!

Boy was my travel day a disaster yesterday!  Multiple changes and delays to my flight.  All capped off by sitting on the runway in Chicago for about an hour until they had a free gate to unload the plane.  Just a mess!

No weight obviously.  Eating wise I am doing ok.  Ate grilled chicken and mozzarella sandwich in the airport yesterday afternoon with only a couple bites of the bread.  Bought a turkey sandwich when I finally got here last night and ate half, planning to have the other half for lunch today.  Since I got here late last night and a full day of class today cannot leave to get any food.  For dinner will get either a burger with no bun or something like that in the hotel restaurant and save the other half for lunch tomorrow.  Having the in room fridge helps me save some choices.  I also have quest bars with me for breakfast and some almond packs.  Traveling is tough but I am doing fair with eating.

Conference is awesome, I love this stuff.  My first sessions were excellent and got a free tote bag, what's not to love?

Have a great day all!!

Heather

Greetings Darlings

Well 131 today. Phooey. I think I need a big "download". Made some modified enchiladas last night. Two tiny tortillas and I gain weight. Curses.

Didn't sleep well last night and ended up playing computer scrabble and drinking wine. Not the greatest insomnia cure but oh well.  Still feeling stressed about my mom's crazy friend and how her new arrangements will work.

Sounds like everyone has a few life issues going on. Carbon jeez, new knees!!!!  Seems like half the people I know are doing that but still its a big deal.  Hope your wait is not too long.

House painter is puttering along with primer and masking off windows. He is a funny dude.

Planning a raku firing today with some experimenting. But its looking kind of windy and thats not good.

Tesla is almost 6 months old. She loves to lick hubby's bare feet and he is so ticklish!

Guard your skinny fellow travelers.    diane s
