133's

I have been "substitute principal " at one of our elementary buildings, where I'll finish out the week. The AP is brand new, and eight new teachers, so I'm doing some mentoring too. Lots of fluid issues and high stress due to it being the second full week of school with essential routines being established. Lots of my own work not getting done. Thirty-one years doing this certainly equipped me with the skill sets to pull it off... just feel the strong  draw of food soothing from former obese principal days.

Morning everyone

Paula have fun..  Heather howzzit going?   Kairk, we ca do it.  Ocean, you can do it too.  Sorry if left anyone out.

soooooo, the orthopaedic surgeon had diagnosed substatianal / severe arthritis in both knees.

This is quite the shock as had no idea and up until 5 months ago have had no pain.

So in a space of 15 minutes am now on a list for knee replacements.   Goodness!!!!!!

being that this is BritishColunbia the wait will take months and months.  Everything will be free of course but the wait will be loooooooong.

Good to have a diagnosis though and an action plan.

Returning home today and to sort out the car as a van backed into it just  before we left.

Food good the whole time but not much walking.

Waiting stinks but am so pleased for you that you have some answers!!  Just think how much worse the pain would be with all that weight back on those knees!  Joining the others to wish for a shorter than planned waiting period!

127.6 - the same I think. Gotta get packed up for my scrapbooking weekend. Not nearly as excited this time with all the other stuff going on in my life right now but I imagine once I get there I will have a great time. Supposed to be a rainy weekend so not sure I will hiking the beautiful grounds where we are staying.

Keep on keeping on my skinny peeps!

122's, yoga'd yesterday but steps were sub-par

I haven't been keeping food in my office and yesterday it paid off.  I desperately wanted a salty snack. There was NOTHING in here.  I fought the desire to steal stuff from the other pharmacist's office.  I keep a premier protein in the break room fridge, I went there to look at it but it had zero appeal.  The cravings were entirely work related, when I got home I just had my usual readiness for dinner.

It is my opportunity to clean up another nook of paperwork --- better get at it.

Have a skinny day,

Shel

No weight, of course. Sort of driving me nuts. Oh well.... My jeans are tight. I guess for now I can use clothes as my gauge. But, then again, maybe not. These are the same jeans I was wearing pre puppy weight! LOL!

My food was on point yesterday more than it has been since my "I don't give a ****" weekend. I had no before bed little something.

My restriction has kicked into high gear, too. Not sure if I did anything differently (I don't think I have), but I'm going with it.

A parent mentioned this morning that Thursdays are her favorite day of the week. I thought about it. They are pretty good. Thursdays are the day before Friday, and Friday is always a good day of the week when one is a teacher.

Happy Thursday!
