122's, pretty good eats and steps yesterday

Dave, I am sorry to hear about your aunt!  It sounds like she has good people around her for support.

Paula, that house/property sounds fabulous!

Flying to Minnesota tonight after work.  Fingers crossed for ok traffic on the way to the airport on this holiday weekend.

Hope your holiday weekend gets off to a strong start!

I think you watch my weight like I watch yours -  I notice if you are lower but not so much the other way around!  It's such a busy time for you --- be kind to yourself!

Good morning all.

Ocean bless you. Will look for the spray here and if can't find a friend. travels regularly to the U.S.   Paula glad about the house find, and Spencerella my heart is with you.   Truly.  Kairk, is there anyway you could subliminally slip in the word 'cucumbers etc' when the little ones talk food?  David , well done with the aero and sorry about your Aunt.

yesterday was spent at the hospital when a loved one had minor surgery.   We were there at 7 and home by 11 and back again at 5 because of oozing.    A long day but good to get it over.

good food day but lots of sitting and walking in confined spaces.

I'm stuck at 183 and can't break free.  Was really looking forward to a fun weekend on a road trip with friends.  But they had a big fight yesterday and now the road trip is on hold.  But we've paid for the hotel already so maybe hubby and I will still go.

I'm under a lot of stress at work.  My meal schedule is really unpredictable so that is presenting a challenge.  I hope to settle back into a routine soon or I fear I'll lose the control I just regained.

This whole weight thing is a never ending battle!  When it's not my head, it's my body or my schedule or my family or something!  But, no excuses.  This is my reality and I have no choice but to live in it!

Have a great weekend all.

197, wavering with 196, about to drop again.  My son has been craving Chinese food, so I ordered some for him and the kids to have for lunch today while I am at work.  My son-in-law was moved to a smaller, shared room from a large private room.  He is very confused and is making a lot of calls, resulting in him being upset, the people he call getting upset and everybody calling my daughter constantly.  He will not be able to have a phone anymore which is going to be difficult but not as bad as having him calling everyone.  My mentally ill son has been hanging in there like a trooper, helping his sister.  He had a meltdown last night, but seems to be OK again.  Luckily, we have an appointment tonight with one of his therapists.

Just keep swimming....

Hugs and love and a lot of support directed to you and your family. You have an awful lot going on. My heart goes out to you.

Remember to be kind to yourself and take care of yourself, too. Taking care of yourself sometimes means calling a truce with your battle with food and allowing yourself the freedom to eat as your body dictates. (Notice, I didn't say throw caution to the wind and binge, but sometimes you need to relax a bit.)

Paula, busy, busy! Congrats on finding the rental. Sounds huge to me!

Food was on point yesterday. Calories were just under 1,100 for the day. Down another .6 this morning.

My life must be in a great place because my concern today is trivial in comparison to Linda's and Joey's. I'm distressed about my Homemedics scale. It is giving me a different weight each time I step on it. What's up with that? It seemed to be so accurate when I first got it. Has anyone else had this happen? .llI'm talking a fluctuation of a pound. I got on it 5 times and got a different weight. Finally on the sixth I got a duplicate weight. I went with that.

The Thin Woman's Brain: Hmmmm.... Love the principals I'm reading, but I wonder how long it takes to become a "Naturally Thin Woman/Man". There is a part of me that would so like to be that Naturally Thin Man, but I question whether it's really a possibility. There is a lot to consider, but I do strive to change some of the food obsessed behaviors I have and am practicing divergent thinking each day.

Just got to keep on keeping on.
