What in the world am I doing up this early? Woke about around 3:30 and couldn't get back to sleep. Too much on my mind I guess!
127.6. Didn't even track calories yesterday. I ate crap all day but didn't eat that much overall. Calories were probably okay but nutrition for my body sucked and exercise besides packing has been non existent!
Got haircut and spray tan in yesterday and several more boxes packed! Also found our new digs to rent. We live in a very small town that we really thought that we would never be able to find a place to rent, but sure enough, there was a 5 bedroom listed on Craigslist that is only a few miles away from where we currently live so we have nabbed it. It is actually pretty decent. Main floor has 2 good sized bedrooms (DS #2 and #3 I think) and then a master with attached bath with shower, kitchen with dining area, a full bath with tub, another fairly big room with windows all around it (I will use as my office/scrapbooking area) and a living room with fire place. The upstairs has a tiny bedroom (DH will use as his office), a full bath with shower and another good sized bedroom (I think we will put DS #1 here). The downstairs has a huge finished area with a bar and another decent sized finished room that I will put the treadmill in. About 1/3 of the basement is unfinished and we will put the washer and dryer there and use the rest for storage. Kitchen/dining and downstairs flooring is tile, main floor family room and office is wood flooring and the rest is fairly new carpet. There is a concrete patio off the family room. All this is on 3 acres of land with tons of mature trees. Looks like it could be a little campground! Only downside is that is that it will be A LOT to mow and the leaves this Fall will be horrid to take care of!
Hope all of you have a great day and upcoming weekend! I'll try and stop in, but the next few days are going to be crazy with the wedding in my hometown about 3 hours away and then a family reunion in IL Sunday-Tuesday!
Paula
Paula, have fun at the wedding and reunion. So glad you found a rental big enough for your needs.
Wt 218 Cal 1135 Eating on track.
On the road yesterday. Did't have my morning peaceful time ritual. Tried to post several times during the day. 8 hours of driving.
Took my mother to see her sister about 4 hours away in a nursing home. New diagnosis of 3 inoperable brain cancers. She is my favorite aunt. She was a teacher in her working days and my uncle was the principal. I wish I could have been around them more. Cool people. It was good for my mom to get to see her sister. For me too. My aunt has a rather large battle in front of her. Hang on to your loved ones while they are here to love.
Airstream steps today. Finish cabinet doors with polyurethane. They need 3-4 coats and I have 1 1/2 on.

116. Yowza. Haven't seen that number for awhile. Scale feedback is helpful, even when I don't like it, so thank you faithful scale.
Had a gorgeous day of riding on Wednesday and did get an awesome pair of shoes at my fav stop along the way. Bad news - store is closing. Good news - 70% price reduction. I'll take a pic and add it here.
DH did most of the moving for DD. She was not able to fully participate so it largely fell on him. We had a long discussion with DD over dinner here last night and it's becoming more and more clear that she cannot manage on her own. A move back home was offered and she's thinking about it.
Our tenants have confirmed an early move out so we will have our house back in another week or so. Mixed feelings - great to have our home and all its conveniences back, but sad to end this wonderful adventure. With DD move back almost a given, we really don't know what is possible for future adventures. Money is tighter these days (yeah, yeah, new shoes) and DD has given notice at one of her two part time jobs (she has trouble there, can't do it emotionally) so that may put extra $ pressure on us too. Yikes! Too much to think about so early!
David, I'm very sorry to hear about your Aunt's poor health. So hard to witness that decline. May your remaining time with her bring you comfort
Peace out.

Embossed suede, so they feel good too! Can't wait to wear them. I love wearing these types of shoes with jeans - the juxtaposition is so great.
