Wow, I don't know if I'm cool enough to start the thread, but this will be my only chance to post today so going for it!

146.4.  Big jump up but I know I haven't committed a calorie crime big enough to cause it.  I know it's not real but makes me cranky anyway.

Today I am working a 12 hour shift in the Emergency Department.  I only do this occasionally so it's not my favorite.  I don't know the other providers or the nurses and it's not my comfort zone.  I feel so exposed there, which is one of the things that make me so anxious in this life.  Pretty sure I have enough food packed for the long day.

After work I'm going straight to the campground to meet my family.  I have to work again tomorrow but at least get to sleep and wake up camping which makes me happy.

Hope you all make the most of this day!!

Morning everyone on this First day of Sept.     Goodness!   It seems to have been a short summer.

hope that the ER day, box packing, daughter moving, school teaching, airstream Reno and the rest of life's joys, goes well.

a good food day but filled with pain.   Pain wears me out.

life moves forward and when a look around the world with so much other kinds of pain, am grateful for small mercies.

Carbon, I second your wishes for our family !  I wish there was something that would help you with your pain.  Have you tried biofreeze spray.  If can't get it there and want to try some, message me your address, and I'll mail you some.  You just HAVE to have some relief !!!

128. Busy day today. Haircut, packing up the house some more, spray tan for a wedding I'm in this weekend, packing up for the weekend.

First day of school for the boys today. One was late for sure, one rolled out of bed and hopped on the bus, the youngest was dressed to the 9's and ready to go 45 minutes before the bus showed up!

122's today.  Food quality a bit sketchy yesterday but calories ok.  Eating before bed was a few bites of fresh vegetables -- an improvement.  Steps barely minimal but I'm ok with that on occasion.

I am feeling anxious about getting my desk totally clean during work hours which is a goal on par with not eating before bed.  This work goal makes me want to graze.

Last night I spent time in a retail pharmacy gazing at the door used by pharmacy staff to get into the pharmacy. I know this door well, a couple of decades ago I worked for this company as a manager.

I bring up this door because it is freakishly narrow.  At my highest weight, the only way I could get thru would be to squish various body parts, one by one, until my entire body made it thru.

Fortunately, I never needed to go into that pharmacy at my highest weight.  I avoided that particular store both as an employee and after I left even tho it is within a 1/2 mile of my house.  I now shop at a competitor which has a sensibly sized door!

Today, I am grateful that VSG literally opened that door for me.

That accessible door is my intention vision for the day.  I hope doors open for all of you today, particularly those with body, brain or heart ache.

Shel
