181.5 so bouncing around still. But feeling thinner. Clothes starting to feel looser.
Got to enjoy a friend's pool today. The weather is beautiful and we are trying to take advantage of it before it turns.
Have a good day!

Hello Humble Hooters
130 on the dot. No clue why but I will take it.
Love all the owl lore. I had heard the legend that if you hear an owl three nights in a row, someone is going to die. Had also heard the Native American view that owls are bad luck and bring death. We have one Native American artist in our gallery and she does lots of birds and wildlife but never any owls. The spotted owl just got on the endangered list here in California which means people who want to cut timber will have more issues. Need more hooters I guess.
The salmon are dying out too. The annual Yurok Salmon festival this year for the first time featured no salmon feast. Not enough to sustainably harvest. I am kind of glad I am old because I fear for our planet. I do some polar bear figures on melted earths.
Glad to hear you are on the mend Dave. No fun to feel icky.
Hope the house thing goes well and all you teachers are getting back into the swing.
Tesla is intently watching my husband make sock balls. She wants to steal them. Hubby has about 50 pair of identical socks and waits until every one is dirty and does a wash marathon.
I slept in today as for the first time I didn't have to get up and make calls to the midwest. What a pleasure. Maybe thats why I lost a pound.
I've been cooking chicken and fish lately in a tomato cream sauce. Just a blob of tomato paste and a blob of fat free sour cream or half and half. Delicious.
Well not much going on but to prepare for my trip. And celebrate my admission to the holy order of Medicare on Wednesday.
Hoot Hoot Diane
130.2. Put in my own Simplisafe alarm system today. Very easy and I love it. I was a bit worried about unannounced visits from the chubby chaser. The county sheriff will deal with it now !
Life is looking up in all respects. Officially handed in my retirement letter for 12/31/16 on Friday. Between consulting , Reiki, and being an independent distributor for It Works (It does ! ), I'll augment my pension nicely. Loving skinny life !!!

Flying donut holes! That explains so much....hehehehehehe! I love the visual on that - especially me with my mouth wide open pretending to be the hangar in which the donut holes must land! LOL!
Am up .5 today. A donut flew into my mouth yesterday, too! Actually Ron and our friend Kathryn were in a mood and went to Krispy Kreme to get a doughnut. They came out with 15 donuts!!!!!! OMG! I had a taste of a chocolate cake donut and then I ate half a tiramisu donut. Technically I did not break a rule because I did not eat chocolate chocolate and donuts are not baked they are fried, so therefore they can not be considered a "baked good". Now, if that isn't rationalization at its finest, I don't know what is! Sheesh..... how the mind can justify..... Luckily, no remorse, no regrets, and no verbal self flagellating.... Am on track today.
Glad you all enjoyed the owl pic. Yes, sometimes the owls will sleep outside the box guarding the owlets. Usually they are asleep, but I was lucky enough to find the owl awake late in the afternoon a while ago. I should find the picture of the fledgling owl in my dining room! That was a hoot and a half! That's when I learned that a barn owl can hiss like a cat!
Great total body workout yesterday: TRX, resistance bands, sliders, and ab work. Followed it up with 2 miles on the elliptical. My glutes and hamstrings are a bit sore today.
Diane S., good luck moving your mom. Hard stuff. Hopefully, roommate won't give you any heartache. Is she a long time companion of your mom's or simply her assigned roommate at the facility? As whacked as she may be, I hope moving your mom doesn't leave her completely alone and lost.
Diane O, congrats on handing in your retirement letter! A landmark moment that!
Hope all of you have a great weekend. Oh, saw on FB that Momsy (Mary) got her #1 daughter off to college. Miss her on the board.
