Mornin' all!

Carbon and Dave, glad you are getting some sleep (I hope)

125's, stuck to eating every 3 hours or greater yesterday :).    Lots of steps, I am enjoying being able to add a bit more giddy-up, especially going up hill. Hope to do a hike at Mt Rainier in the next couple of weeks.

Stay skinny my friends,

Shel

126.4 (after breakfast). Can't believe I didn't think to weigh this morning. Not sure if that is a good or bad sign.

DS#1 doing okay, now home from the hospital. I get to play nurse maid! Poor kid, was saying already last night that he wanted to eat something other than liquid. It is going to be a long 6 weeks!

Will visit an apartment this afternoon and have a few calls in for others. I really think we will be selling our home.

No exercise the last 2 days so will try and get something in today. Doesn't take long to get out of the habit and I don't want to go there!

Would love to go Mountain hiking with you Shel!

Jus****ch the weather report, Paula. DH will pick the most clear day that isn't super hot.  So, leave your son protein shakes and let your husband pick out the new digs while you fly out ;)

The hike is on a mountain that is right next to Mt Rainier.  You know it is an active volcano, right?  Wear your volcano pants.

My husband has been doing this particular hike since he was a kid and restarted several years ago.  This is my first time going.  NSV for sure!

Kidding aside, I feel for DS1!  You, too! You are going to stay busy for weeks!  Schedule Paula-time so you don't burn out.

Wish I was there to tag along on your apartment search. I love looking at homes, even after working for 5 years in residential real estate.

Morning all

sincere hugs to wired son.    I remember when people had that done as a weight loss method, the snag being ice cream goes down a treat.

Wish could go with you in the hike.

Well yesterday, at work, was one of those insaitiable hungry days.   Drank coffee, chug a lugged water and finally ate 1/2 cookie.   And that did not help, only started the slippery slope of endless cookies.   Remembered that there was a can of salmon, wolfed that down and was fine.   Felt pleased that had stopped the spiral.

but for the rest of the day cookie-monster was right behind me breathing sugar and flour, white knuckled it, finally slept and again pleased that did not give in.

One day at a time.

enjoy apt searching!

So difficult to put the cookie monster back to bed once he's up, isn't it?!

Hi everyone!!

147.2, holding steady in the same place.  Was bummed I did not get to check in on this thread yesterday, it was the one year anniversary of my surgery.  What a difference a year makes, feeling amazing.

I had the busiest day I've had at work yesterday, I saw 31 patients myself and then straight to a meeting.  To say I was exhausted was an understatement.  Back at work today and hoping for a bit less stressful pace.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day today.  You all are amazing!

I am not meant to live in a topsy, turvy world !!!  I thrive on order !!  The entire main floor of my house and the family room below are torn apart, with disgusting carpet coming out and hardwood laminate going in.  Keeping three cats and a dog out of the fray, and having most furniture in the two remaining bedrooms on the first floor.  There is dust all over.  They came late yesterday, and only finished half.  I had no TV or living room last night. I was able to crawl into my bed last night, but couldn't get to my dresser this morning.  Luckily, I had a load of laundry in the dryer, thus some clean clothes.  I have no idea how to get to my scale, so did not weigh in today. My eating is great... much of it because I was sequestered in my home office all day, where there IS no food.  Back in the day, I would have had emergency food stored in every room. LOL !

Do some hiking, sleeping, refinishing, cookie monster slaying, lighter work loads, and enjoy those new kiddos !!
