Shel from what I see, it's fairly common for people to go off the rails a bit when they're recovering from plastics. The good news is that you didn't follow the all to common path of regain. So you're ahead of the game! Things may very well get easier when you're more fully recovered and back to your old routines too. Take heart!

114 today. Even after all this time in maintenance, I still take a little comfort in seeing any number south of 115 lol.
All the school talk is leading me to begin to embrace that fall will soon be here! It's been an unusually cool and wet summer in Calgary, so it already feels like it's arrived. Our tenant has asked if we could consider a slightly earlier turnover date. No pressure to do so by any means, but by nature we like to be amenable if we can. Besides, I may miss my wardrobe if this cool weather continues!
DH is reluctantly back to work today but his foot surgery is now moved forward to October 20th so he won't be there for long before another extended break for his recovery. Again we feel a bit like things are rather loosey goosey and we are having trouble pulling the trigger on a longer term plan. There are certainly financial barriers too, so if we can sort those out it might be easier to commit to something longer term.
Now that we're closer to home, my anxiety is starting to return. We need to sort things out so we can get on with our lives!
All the best today!

Back down .5 or .6. So that's down 3.5 for the wee****rtainly can live with that. From here on out, I'm hoping for a 1-2 pound loss each week. @ would be better than 1! LOL!
I am feeling quite confident about "The Rules" and my ability to follow them now that I've been doing it for a week. Yes, I've had 3 digressions from my Rule Path, but 2 were planned and the 3rd oops, was caught immediately and thought through in the moment. I went shopping yesterday before dinner and I was hyper aware of the foods that called out to me. I was able to acknowledge the pull and move on. I can see that I will begin counting calories and macros and logging on Livestrong again in the next week or so.
I find it interesting how the transition back to work causes change in my eating. I am eating with a schedule again, which is a bit tricky since I'm not always hungry when it's time to eat. The brighter side of it is that I ate my mid morning meal and wasn't overly hungry at lunch (yesterday I was noticeably hungry by lunch time since I had not yet eaten anything other than a protein shake).
David, get some rest. You probably need it. Paula, good luck with your real estate endeavors. Shel, good for you on controlling the grazing - a very hard thing to do. Carbon, As if you need another thing on your plate! Persevere, my friend, persevere! Linda, enjoy your time near home to get things done and I am so sorry the anxiety is making a come back. I would love to see a pic of your new hair. Sounds quite attractive.
Happy Hump Day!
Agh ! Has it really been that long since I've been involved in a home improvement project !? The dust !!! The disorder !!! The floors look pretty good, but there are some dings and scratches. Perfection is over rated.
133's. Shel... I KNOW I should shift my range to 134-139. That is the compromise below where my providers want me... I really like 129-134. I liked 121... who am I kidding ?
Positive thoughts and energy to everyone !!!

Greetings Great Non-Grazers
130.5 today. Worked at galleries the last two days. Also have been super busy trying to arrange the move for my mom to the assisted living wing of their facility. I feel like an air traffic controller calling various services and getting zillions of texts. Will be flying out to the midwest Monday for a week. Still a lot of details up in the air and predicting the crazy roommate will interfere. Treating myself to first class since its three plane rides then a 50 mile drive.
Yikes Carbon, ants! Like you need another issue. Paula hope your son is doing well. I had a good friend who's son had that sort of surgery many years ago and it all turned out fine.
Sleep is a form of nourishment. Gotta have it. Think how great it will be to sleep in the airstream. Hubby and all the dogs are sleeping right now. Its one of those days I guess - overcast. I feel like napping too and maybe will after I make all my air traffic control phone calls.
Looking forward to decorating my mom's new unit. Its quite large - more than she needs - so there will be plenty of room for fun stuff she likes.
Will be missing my featured artist event at one gallery on sept. 2 but its no big deal. Just have to arrange for hubby to get my new pieces up there. They will come out of the kiln monday after I leave so I won't even see them. hope they don't crack in firing.
Hmmm, second cup of coffee is beckoning.. . .. diane S
