Well, I'm definitely not a talented cook! It's one of the reasons I became obese I think!! I think I messed it up, they are like thin pancakes (almost like a crepe). Maybe I should've used parchment paper instead of the baking sheet?? I will still try these tonight and try another batch soon!! ;)

I do use parchment but I am not sure that makes a difference? I wonder if you egg whites were stiff enough? Also, I think recipe talks about them melting if you don't go from spooning onto pan into oven fast enough.....could they have melted?
By the way, I used baking powder (I think there is a choice between that and cream of tartar.)
This begins to border on food porn which I don't really want to do. On the other hand, here is my cloud bread use for today: grilled cheese sandwich which was two cloud breads with a trader joe goat cheese medallion inbetween. I used a non-stick pan, no butter/oil. Since I used two cloud-rounds, I chose 2 that were on the small size.
Stats (if I am remembering everything correctly)
Total cal: 150
protein: 9 or 10g

So, better than, say, a cookie. It definitely felt like a treat so that counts for a lot. I have very little bread in my diet and haven't had anything like a grilled cheese sand or quesadilla, or even a regular sandwich with bread for years.
Could add salmon/turkey etc, to bump up the protein if looking for true pyloric valve help. I have to say from a satiety standpoint that I feel pretty good. I'm not sitting here wishing for a cookie.
Best of luck on the next batch :)

Not happy. 184 today. There was no good reason for my huge jump and now I'm sorta stuck up there, despite being perfect. And sick with this damn cold. Do cold meds make me retain water????? No idea what's happening.
Still on plan with eating. Really trying to stay the course, but it's hard when the scale is not cooperating.
OK, end rant. Moving forward!

OMG!!! I have the foamies, slimies, repeats, whatever you want to call it! ACCCCKKKKK!!!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! The cause? I ate an entire apple. It's been about 25 minutes and it seems to be getting better, but the pressure on my esophageal valve is ever present. Really, at almost 5 years out you'd think I'd know I can't eat an entire apple. Sigh.....
I was up another .6 today. Haven't a clue why. My food has been 100% on point, though I do admit on the saltier side. Celebrated my dad's 87th yesterday going out with Pops, his lady, my bro, and Ron. I ate modestly (1/2 fig with balsamic, a bit of mixed greens - about 1/4 cup, a few bites of pasta and about 2 oz chicken breast) and later had my yogurt at home.
Had a great workout yesterday and am having a nice first day with the kids. Nice group so far. I'll let you all know the true class personality once the honeymoon is over!
Calories are too low so far today. Need to get more protein in after school.
Will check back later to read all the posts!
