Weight down 1.2 today. Stuck to my rules yesterday and found I was very much wanting something sweet by the afternoon. Coped allowing some substitutions: Kirkland protein bar (gotta say, not a fan of those), a Coke Zero, and a tortilla with dinner helped with the longing for a sweet treat. I made a fresh batch of yogurt last night and stocked up on meat and eggs, which I will cook and grill tonight. I am feeling particularly good and positive this morning, so I'm thinking that my traditional Day 2 struggles will be non existent. I'm going with that and sticking to the positive.

Having a coffee break at school! Such a treat to have a pristinely clean and silent classroom. It is very centering. Had a dentist appt. this morning and have to give a thumbs up of approval to my new dentist. (My old dentist is stepping down slowly, but surely and handing over the reins of his practice to the new "young" guy (probably 45 or so). Anyhow, I had two small areas of just beginning beginning decay at the gum line on two lower molars. New Guy gave me the option to try with no anesthetic so I wouldn't have numb mouth all morning. I jumped for it. AWESOME! In and out in under an hour with no pain or discomfort and no funny tongue and fat lip sensation!

OMG! The garage. We could host a dance party in it! Ron is hauling off the last of the boxes to various churches today and then the garage floor will be EMPTY! This project was a huge undertaking and long, long overdue. Happy, happy, joy, joy!

Felicitations Fine Friends

130.5 today. Sounds like everyone is doing well which is good to hear. Good job on the library luncheon. Its hard to not eat when you make stuff and to toss a good cobbler.

Carbon, glad you got to walk but I worry about doing more damage to the knee. Hey maybe you could go kayaking for exercise. Everyone around here does that except me.

Kairk always good to find a good new dentist. Mine is getting a little older and in our dinky town choices.

Well Dave, I could send you a bunch of ugly lavender paint samples but you probably would hate them as I do. Will try out another more subtle one today.

Gotta get a photo and write up some "Remarks from the Artist" for featured artist month. Its hard to keep coming up with ways to say "I make this art because I like doing it". So there.

Ocean, glad you are mending and getting house updated. Thats what I need to do - house update.

Hey if anyone is feeling charitable, the people in flooded Louisiana really need help.

Time for more coffee.  Diane S.

Nice work Lesa!  You're doing great and the scale is rewarding you. It's all about behaviour over time.
