I have always been curious about the cloud bread.....would you make it again? I was worried that I would overeat it just like regular bread.
Life does go on....the change in season will be here soon, hopefully it will mark a positive change for you!

I like cloud bread. It ain't bread, but it works! During WL if you need a sandwich and are super carb conscious, cloud bread is the way to go. I have recipe somewhere that I really like. Here it is: Cloud bread recipe
Cloud bread is versatile, too! Sub for pancakes, crackers, roll ups, bruschetta, etc....
Today my weight was down a smidgeon - undeservedly, too. I ate strangely yesterday. Just an off day. I didn't eat lunch until 4:00 and it was sort of down hill from that point forward - dinner was at 10:30 because I forced myself to stop working in the garage and eat something. While I had no interest in chocolate or ice cream yesterday, I could have eaten my way through a bakery! I'm guessing that was a food funeral driven.
The junk haulers called and cancelled during their arrival window. Truck broke down. Well, I need this project done before I absolutely have to be at work during regular hours and they can't reschedule until Thursday when I'm obligated to meet my team for grade level planning. So I went on line and found a different company who will arrive today around noon. Cheaper, too! This delay will still put me behind schedule, but the garage work will then be done. In the span of one week we have taken the garage from so cluttered there was only one narrow path from front to back to being able to park my Toyota Sienna in it.
I feel accomplished. I'm also pleased that rather than sit with it and stay frustrated, I took the bull by the horns, got what I needed and didn't eat my frustration. Win!
There is a lot on my mind with "the rules" in place today. I am bracing myself for a few inner tantrums or hardline desires/cravings. Watching the spring board diving last night will serve as inspiration! Those fellows are so lean and mean and look so damn healthy. BTW, Kristian Ipsen is a hometown boy. His family owns a local pizza place that is famous for their pizza called the Preggo which is touted to cause women overdue to give birth to go into labor! I've had many friends give it a try over the years!
Happy Tuesday skinny peeps!
Great day on the scale for me!! After a 3 mile run and what Paula would call TBP I was down to 145.4 this morning. This is huge because it puts me in the normal BMI category! Ok, fine...my BMI is like 24.96, but if the internet calculator calls it normal I am taking it! Decent food choices yesterday despite being very busy so pleased with that. Got up and did my run this morning, I am find that getting back to regular exercise has really helped my stress and anxiety levels.
Tomorrow I am working in the prison. This is something I do perdiem, as much as my way of giving back and for a little extra cash. Last time I went the correctional officer questioned me about my picture on the ID badge as it is so different! Hopefully I can get in tomorrow. The good news about the prison is I NEVER eat the food there (nasty) so I will stick with what I pack for the day. Bad news I can't bring in my Iphone. It's stupid how long the day seems when I don't have my device. So I will likely see you all in a couple days.
Have an amazing day all!

Hey fam. I'm at 114. A solid day food wise so all is good there.
We rode yesterday. Route was nice but traffic wasn't, so didn't find my zen :(. Came home tired and grumpy, but fessed up to it and was subsequently able to move on.
Today we are going to spend a few hours at the lake sitting/lying in our loungers. Maybe put our feet in the water every now and then to cool off but spend most our time in the shade if any is available. Every day is a bit different so the thrill of doing this has not worn off.
I'm loving all the CBT talk. I've been using it for years and the research is pretty darn strong to support its application to food issues. And yes I do think we do best when we acknowledge and nurture that little child who lives within each of us. Unhappy and scared kids need our attention.
Hope you all have an excellent day!

Glad the CBT is working. I did some of this with a shrink years ago though not related to eating. There is a book called Diets Don't Work that is useful in a similar way - be a thin person by learning and imitating the habits of seemingly naturally thin people. I ought to dust that one off.
So does Preggo Pizza work on overdue dogs? Kairk I gotta hand it to you for getting the garage done. I look at mine and can't figure out where to start.
I am trying out house colors with little paint bottles. Good thing because a couple of the tests turned out to be pretty garish. More work needed.
Errands to run, banking for my mom, visit to the chiropractor for wonky hip - these are the days of our skinny lives. Still haven't gotten to the new health food store but today may be the day. Not much left for dinners. 130.5. That pound just haunts me to no end.
Good luck with all the getting ready for school stuff. Can it really be that time of year?
Looking forward to "Airstream-the Movie"
Hey did anybody out there have a truly happy carefree childhood? Not me. But my hubby did - actually he is still in it!
